Nothing But Jason And Luke. So...Everything.

Happy Tuesday loves!

I was absent yesterday. Sometimes sleep is more important than blogging.
Just sometimes though.

It could just be a hunch that I have, but I don't think anyone really cares about how many weeds we picked in our yard, how we went grocery shopping on a Friday night (and actually enjoyed it), how we walked our elderly neighbors Pomeranian with Rocky, and ate the most aah-mazing breakfast at our favorite place (Sweet Clove) this past weekend.
Ok, maybe 32 of you that commented & "liked" my instagram pic care about the breakfast.

Sorry for making you hungry after you probably just got finished eating breakfast.

But what I'm guessing you kinda sorta want to see are my pictures from the Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert.
I would, too.

Let me just make one thing perfectly clear.

Hi. My name is Katie, and I'm truly obsessed with Jason Aldean and his jeans.
this is NO lie!

The concert was amazeballs, girls.
There is just not much to say when it comes to these two country singers.
Amazing, fantastic, talented, gorgeous...repeat.
If you have the opportunity to go see them this year - DO IT! SPEND HUNDREDS! THOUSANDS!!
Kidding.

Some of you may kill me for saying this and might disagree (which is fine!), but to me Jason Aldean is a far better singer and entertainer than Luke Bryan. Luke did an amazing job, but he can't compare to Jason Aldean. Just amazing. It could be because I've already seen Luke Bryan and this was my first time seeing JA, and the initial "hot country artist shakin' his thang" wasn't as strong as the first time around seeing Luke. OR it could be the level of obsessed I am with JA's song "Dirt Road Anthem" (right Beau Beau?). Who knows.

Our day started around 1pm on Sunday when my girlfriend Sarah came over and we headed down to the stadium to get a good tailgaiting spot with some of her friends. You are allowed to bring grills, corn hole, and alcoholic drinks into the stadium parking lot and have a grand ole time before the concert starts. Naturally, we spent all day down there and had a big party. It was so much fun (and tiring..since we were on our feet almost all day).

Like I said on Friday, our seats were 20 some rows back, center stage. They were wonderful! However, when it comes to concerts, one should never settle with their seats (unless you are already front row, obviously). Girls can always get a little further up with the help of security guards and being charming! I don't remember the last concert I've been to that we haven't snuck up to closer to the stage (we don't take other paying customers seats-we simply find empty ones or areas that no one is standing/sitting!). Sunday was hard though! The security guards were far more strict than other concerts, but we still got to stand farther up in the aisle way, and towards the end we made it towards the very front to take in the good looks even more.

Enough rambling by me, I hope you enjoy the tight jeans pictures like I do!

"Don't leave, Luke!"

It was as heavenly as it looks.
The night ended with me randomly finding my cousin Jen in the parking lot and she walked with me all the way to where Billy was picking me up (which wasn't that close but the parking lot was a MAD HOUSE and no cars were moving!) at 1230am. Thanks, Jen. :)

Have you seen Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan in concert before?
What is your favorite country concert?

xo.

  3. I've seen them both in concert! Great show! I agree with you, JA is my favorite (but I'm also pretty much obsessed with him!). JA was in Atlanta in May but I missed out bc of a wedding. So bummed.

Looks like you had a blast! I'm so jealous : )

Have you heard Kip Moore's new song?! I just blogged about it today. Such a sweet song. I'm such a sucker for country music!!

  5. I am going to see them in September cannot wait! however it is funny that you say you like JA better becuase they just performed close to us not too long ago and a ton of people I know went and said that JA was a little drunk and did a terrible job! I so hope that he will be in what ever shape he was when you saw him! Glad you had fun

  10. I've seen both Jason and Luke -- very lucky, indeed! I have to say that Luke was on point when I saw him. However, it was on a college campus and I think that's just a comfortable setting for him :) They are both amazing and definitely worth the money!!!

  11. Awesome seats! Looks like a blast! I just found out they'll be around Houston in October, I clearly need tickets! I've seen them both separately but never together!!!

  12. Yes, I have been to their concert before and adored it. I tried to go again this summer but it sold out in STL in like an hour.
I just went to Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, and Eli Young Band...amazing. Eli Young Band is my fave lately.

  13. Those pictures are awesome! I've only been to one country concert recently. My boss gave me free tickets to see Zac Brown Band at the Rodeo! It was pretty cool, but I'm not a huuuge country fan and I didn't know any of their songs but one =X I'm the worst southern girl ever. haha!

  15. Ok first of all, that pancake looks amazing! I thought so when I saw it this weekend and I still think it does...as I sit here with my special k :/ blech. And you weren't kidding about great seats! You got some pretty awesome pics! I haven't seen either of them in concert but I will have to disagree and say that Luke Bryan is such a cutie!! Like, way more than Jason. Sorry haha however, I would like to think that Brad Paisley tops them both :)

  16. You guys got sooo close!! And I completely agree with you about this concert, yes Luke looked adorable as always, but Jason completely made the concert. The parking lot afterwards was insane - we didn't get out of the lot until after 1!!

  17. I adore luke bryan and jason aldean. We've been to a few country concerts (Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown & Brad Paisley), my favorite performer wise was Brad Paisley he can really put on a show while Zac Brown Band was all about the music.
We always get "lawn seats" at a local venue because we kind of set up our own tailgate (minus the cooler) at the concert.

  18. I've seen Jason Aldean! (ah-mazing)...Luke Bryan is definitely on my list!

  19. Don't hate me but I don't find either of those men attractive in the least bit!! Too focused on Gavin I suppose ;) I'm not a huge country fan but I love red dirt like Eli Young and Cross Canadian. Those were two of the most fun concerts I've ever been to. Eli Young is coming to Denver my birthday weekend with Rascal Flats and Little Big Town.. that will be ALOT of country for me hahah. Have a great day girl :)

  21. Miranda Lambert & Pistol Annies--fo sho one of my faves!!!

  22. I'm from Oklahoma so I'm definitely no stranger to country music! I saw Jason open for Keith Urban in 2009 and it was love at first sight. I've seen Kenny, Keith, Tim, Luke, Eric, Rascal Flatts...the list goes on, but seriously JA is one of the best! So glad you had a good time!

  23. Ah I love him too! The best country concert I have seen was Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley. It was a blast!

  24. I didn't see the guys when they came through KC but I know of many that will back you up saying Aldean is a much better performer. I know someone that is friends with them both and said he would miss a Luke Bryan concert but never an Aldean one.

  25. (no offense to the men above) But Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert are still my favorites that I've been too! But I did go see Luke and Jason in concert this tour and it was amazeballs!
The shakin was sufficient for me!

And I got super lucky and won Meet & Greet passes to meet Jason Aldean before. And let me just tell you, The sexiness and jean hugging is so much better up close and personal! And he's actually a really normal person and so funny!
