Happy Tuesday loves!
I was absent yesterday. Sometimes sleep is more important than blogging.
Just sometimes though.
It could just be a hunch that I have, but I don't think anyone really cares about how many weeds we picked in our yard, how we went grocery shopping on a Friday night (and actually enjoyed it), how we walked our elderly neighbors Pomeranian with Rocky, and ate the most aah-mazing breakfast at our favorite place (Sweet Clove) this past weekend.
Ok, maybe 32 of you that commented & "liked" my instagram pic care about the breakfast.
Sorry for making you hungry after you probably just got finished eating breakfast.
But what I'm guessing you kinda sorta want to see are my pictures from the Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert.
I would, too.
Let me just make one thing perfectly clear.
Hi. My name is Katie, and I'm truly obsessed with Jason Aldean and his jeans.
this is NO lie!
The concert was amazeballs, girls.
There is just not much to say when it comes to these two country singers.
Amazing, fantastic, talented, gorgeous...repeat.There is just not much to say when it comes to these two country singers.
If you have the opportunity to go see them this year - DO IT! SPEND HUNDREDS! THOUSANDS!!
Kidding.
Some of you may kill me for saying this and might disagree (which is fine!), but to me Jason Aldean is a far better singer and entertainer than Luke Bryan. Luke did an amazing job, but he can't compare to Jason Aldean. Just amazing. It could be because I've already seen Luke Bryan and this was my first time seeing JA, and the initial "hot country artist shakin' his thang" wasn't as strong as the first time around seeing Luke. OR it could be the level of obsessed I am with JA's song "Dirt Road Anthem" (right Beau Beau?). Who knows.
Our day started around 1pm on Sunday when my girlfriend Sarah came over and we headed down to the stadium to get a good tailgaiting spot with some of her friends. You are allowed to bring grills, corn hole, and alcoholic drinks into the stadium parking lot and have a grand ole time before the concert starts. Naturally, we spent all day down there and had a big party. It was so much fun (and tiring..since we were on our feet almost all day).

Like I said on Friday, our seats were 20 some rows back, center stage. They were wonderful! However, when it comes to concerts, one should never settle with their seats (unless you are already front row, obviously). Girls can always get a little further up with the help of security guards and being charming! I don't remember the last concert I've been to that we haven't snuck up to closer to the stage (we don't take other paying customers seats-we simply find empty ones or areas that no one is standing/sitting!). Sunday was hard though! The security guards were far more strict than other concerts, but we still got to stand farther up in the aisle way, and towards the end we made it towards the very front to take in the good looks even more.
Enough rambling by me, I hope you enjoy the
"Don't leave, Luke!"

The night ended with me randomly finding my cousin Jen in the parking lot and she walked with me all the way to where Billy was picking me up (which wasn't that close but the parking lot was a MAD HOUSE and no cars were moving!) at 1230am. Thanks, Jen. :)
Have you seen Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan in concert before?
What is your favorite country concert?
xo.
