Nothing But Jason And Luke. So...Everything.

Happy Tuesday loves!

I was absent yesterday. Sometimes sleep is more important than blogging.
Just sometimes though.

It could just be a hunch that I have, but I don't think anyone really cares about how many weeds we picked in our yard, how we went grocery shopping on a Friday night (and actually enjoyed it), how we walked our elderly neighbors Pomeranian with Rocky, and ate the most aah-mazing breakfast at our favorite place (Sweet Clove) this past weekend.
Ok, maybe 32 of you that commented & "liked" my instagram pic care about the breakfast.

Sorry for making you hungry after you probably just got finished eating breakfast.

But what I'm guessing you kinda sorta want to see are my pictures from the Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert.
I would, too.

Let me just make one thing perfectly clear.

Hi. My name is Katie, and I'm truly obsessed with Jason Aldean and his jeans.
this is NO lie!

The concert was amazeballs, girls.
There is just not much to say when it comes to these two country singers.
Amazing, fantastic, talented, gorgeous...repeat.
If you have the opportunity to go see them this year - DO IT! SPEND HUNDREDS! THOUSANDS!!
Kidding.

Some of you may kill me for saying this and might disagree (which is fine!), but to me Jason Aldean is a far better singer and entertainer than Luke Bryan. Luke did an amazing job, but he can't compare to Jason Aldean. Just amazing. It could be because I've already seen Luke Bryan and this was my first time seeing JA, and the initial "hot country artist shakin' his thang" wasn't as strong as the first time around seeing Luke. OR it could be the level of obsessed I am with JA's song "Dirt Road Anthem" (right Beau Beau?). Who knows.

Our day started around 1pm on Sunday when my girlfriend Sarah came over and we headed down to the stadium to get a good tailgaiting spot with some of her friends. You are allowed to bring grills, corn hole, and alcoholic drinks into the stadium parking lot and have a grand ole time before the concert starts. Naturally, we spent all day down there and had a big party. It was so much fun (and tiring..since we were on our feet almost all day).

{top pic: Holly's sister, Holly, Me. bottom: Sarah, Holly, Me (it was windy!)}

Like I said on Friday, our seats were 20 some rows back, center stage. They were wonderful! However, when it comes to concerts, one should never settle with their seats (unless you are already front row, obviously). Girls can always get a little further up with the help of security guards and being charming! I don't remember the last concert I've been to that we haven't snuck up to closer to the stage (we don't take other paying customers seats-we simply find empty ones or areas that no one is standing/sitting!). Sunday was hard though! The security guards were far more strict than other concerts, but we still got to stand farther up in the aisle way, and towards the end we made it towards the very front to take in the good looks even more.

Enough rambling by me, I hope you enjoy the tight jeans pictures like I do!

"Don't leave, Luke!"

It was as heavenly as it looks.
The night ended with me randomly finding my cousin Jen in the parking lot and she walked with me all the way to where Billy was picking me up (which wasn't that close but the parking lot was a MAD HOUSE and no cars were moving!) at 1230am. Thanks, Jen. :)

Have you seen Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan in concert before?
What is your favorite country concert?

xo.

The Weekend I Get To Scream At Luke Bryan & Jason Aldean To Shake It For ME.

Why hello there loves.
Happy friday to each and every one of you!

I'm just gonna cut to the chase today..no beating around the bush, no small talk.
This Sunday might mark one of my favorite days of my human existence.
I'm seeing Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan in concert {with a familiar face-miss Holly
from the 20th row, center stage.

I just spit out my iced coffee even thinking about this.

Excuse me while I clean up the spit out coffee that is now all over my computer screen.

Our seats for this concert are amazeballs.
I bought them during the pre-sale because I knew this concert would be one of the best, and I mean, really? look at those bodies faces!
Jason Aldean is one of my favorite country singers and even though I saw Luke Bryan
in concert last year (with Tim McGraw-remember?), there is no way in h-e-double-hockey-sticks that I would decline seeing him shake it again.

Since I will hopefully get good views of them, it is only normal for me to scream as loud as loud as my throat and lungs will let me to "shake it for me".
The excitement is overwhelming.

This concert is expected to exceed 27,000 people and be the largest concert in history where it's held, at Crew Stadium. Clearly, all of us women who like to see hot country men like to stick together.

*if you'd like to see any pics before I blog about this hotness concert event, follow me on instagram @katiewkrysh.

Also going on this weekend is the Dublin Irish Festival. aka one of my favorite events in my hometown. Just picture Irish bands playing in tents, beer stands, funnel cakes, and people dressed up in kilts. Since this is one of the first weekends Billy and I have zero plans, we are really trying to relax and play things by ear, so I'm not sure yet if we are for sure going, but we'd like to if we feel up for it.

Speaking of awesome concert events...
Do you know someone really cool who works for the NFL? I do, I do.
Her name is Erin, she is super hilarious and sweet, and is an Ohio-an like myself.

+At the end of this post, I'm sharing the winna winna of my statement necklace giveaway and a 20% off coupon code for my new favorite "Keep Calm and Carry On" necklace.
The point is this: you better not leave quite yet.

Hi new friends!!!
I'm so grateful Katie is letting me sneak onto her blog today--is she great, or what?!
I'm Erin and I blog over at Love, Fun and Football . I've been blogging for almost a year now, and it's amazing the people I've "met" and formed relationships with. The blog world continues to rock my face off!!!

My blog title sums up the majority of what I talk about.

Love; My sexy husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary this past May. I blogged all the details of our wedding-- including our 70-year-old grandma DJ, the CRAZY church wedding coordinator and all the in between. It's been fun having a place to chronicle our early years as a couple, vacations and the time we held a baby lion.

Fun; I mean, who doesn't like to have a good time?! I love to share the funny things that happen in life, at work and within my family. Over the years I've learned to laugh at myself and not to take life too seriously. Oh, and I rarely take a normal picture.
The night before my wedding
Definitely didn't have ice skates on... but still look for us in Olympics 2016 ;)
Obviously 3D movies are hardcore and require ducklips!
Just me being me ;)
Football; I hope there are some other football-lovin gal's out there because it's kinda my life.

I work in the football world, my husband and I are CRAZY football fanatics. Our love for the same NFL team is actually the reason we met and he proposed on the football field too!

I hope you'll pop in over here and say hello! I'd love to get to know some Katie's fabulous readers!

Visit her blog and make a new friend today!

*The winner of the statement necklace giveaway is Erin Heydt.
Congratulations! I will be emailing you. Thank you everyone for entering!

*Lastly, Bip and Bop sent me the cutest, most fitting necklace ever. See?

How cute is it?! I just love it.
They have a bunch of different colors you can pick from, too. With the code, "friends" you can get 20% off which makes this necklace pretty much a steal!

Happy shopping day.
Remember..friday's are shopping days. ;)

Sweet Summertime {Kenny Chesney}

I love the summer.

~Kenny Chesney

This weekend we were blessed with beautiful pool weather and we soaked up every minute of it. Saturday was one of those days you feel like your in college again and now my body hates me today because of it.

Our good friends Jim & Rudy live at an apartment complex that has a huge pool, volleyball courts, bar, cornhole boards, music, etc. We were in the sun all day long and played about 10 games of sand volleyball...it was heavenly.

{OK, maybe not this heavenly..but still heavenly.}

Next thing I knew it was 7pm and we were going to the Kenny Chesney concert. Whatttt..? Did we have tickets? NO! But we had a plan. Don't you love unexpected plans that come together at the last minute? 2 of our friends had tickets and Me, Billy, and Rudy didn't, but our plan was to just go and scalp them. Our plan was to just buy any general admission ticket and then sneak down to the FLOOR where our friends Jessie & Jim had tickets. I've mentioned like 5 times before on my blog about sneaking down to better seats, so by now you guys all know I'm a pro and this plan totally worked.

We ended up paying $20.00 for our tickets and then our friends passed us their wristbands for the floor and next thing I knew we were 11 rows back jamming to Kenny Chesney until the sun went down {we'll be groovin' when the sun goes down...}. AWESOME! thank you Jessie - if you're reading!

{sorry for the bad quality-haven't uploaded my digi pics yet
so you get these iPhone ones}

{and this is a picture of a picture}

We had so much fun at the concert and Kenny was GREAT to see live! He put on a really fab show. I just love country concerts!!

Sunday was spent recovering and spending many hours at Whole Foods.
If you know me at all, you know I love this store.
