I Confess...

I confess...we just got Rocky's biopsy results back yesterday and the growth on his gum ISN'T cancerous!! Yay!  Such a relief and very thankful!

I confess...that I really really despise doing our taxes every year and normally put them off until the very end.

I confess...that I found the cutest boat for the nursery to hold books!

I confess...being sick with a cold during pregnancy is for the birds. I don't get sick often, but lately I've been so unlucky with catching viruses that it's thrown me into a little funk..my energy has been down and one minute I want to eat nothing and the next I want to eat all the things.

I confess...that my favorite pair of jeans ever are actually on sale! AG jeans almost never go on sale...and let me tell you they are the most comfy jeans I own. (you use the code "friends"-until 4/10)

I confess...I was laughing/had my mouth open during most of the premiere of Southern Charm last night! Soo many WHAT?! moments. Kathryn and Thomas...#newcraig...Whitney with the restaurant?!..at least I can always count on Cameran for being adorable/hilarious. She might be my fav person on Bravo...anyone agree?

I confess...meal planning this pregnancy - 1, Katie - 0. Struggle. bus. Billy has been a trooper being patient with me and cooking some nights!

I confess...loving this scalloped tank top! I also found some really cute inexpensive summer dresses from Forever21 (online) recently... this one (sized up to a medium) and this one!

I confess...I'm nervous about the glucose test I have in a few weeks. With Cam, I wasn't really worried about it but since my diet has been all over the place this pregnancy (see also: too much chocolate cake batter ice cream) I'm definitely more scared to get the results back...

I confess...I prefer a facial over a massage ANY DAY! The lady I go to for facials (I had one this weekend) does the most amazing job and it is so relaxing. It was heavenly! Not to mention, she does an upper body massage with it so you get the best of both worlds. For all of you local Columbus gals, go see Heather at Aura Spa and thank me later (I think your first appointment is $65 for a 90 minute facial with microderm-awesome deal!)

I confess...I heard a really good tip on one of my mom Facebook groups to order this convertible car seat to travel with because it's so lightweight and inexpensive. We got it for Florida (less than 2 weeks away!) and I'm happy we won't have to worry about damaging our expensive Chicco one that we use everyday.

What are your confessions?! Happy Tuesday friends!!

  1. OMG! I am with you on the cold train - I've been fighting a nasty one for almost 2 weeks and it's my 3rd one this winter! It's so defeating b/c I feel like I don't have the energy to do all the things that I want and need to do. Plus it screws up my diet as well.... ugh I have my glucose test this Friday and am a little worried myself. Maybe I need to go get a facial to make myself feel better hahahaha Feel better soon!

  2. Yes on all the pregnancy confessions... the colds and viruses have been rough this season! And I am a complete failure with the meal planning as well! Love that boat shaped book holder! Too cute!

  3. We ended doing the same thing and ordered a cheap convertible car seat for our trip we're on right now and it's been great! I didn't want to have to lug our heavy expensive Maxi Cosi with us so we ended up getting an Evenflo car seat and it's so much lighter! (I almost ended up going with the Cosco one, I heard it's really similar to the one we ordered, cheap, light, and does the job for a trip!) Plus, now it's nice to have a back up car seat in case we need it!

  4. Sorry you've been sick! That is never fun! Also, I def have to agree on Cameron! I was just telling my husband that last night during the premiere that she is my absolute favorite. I can't wait to see the rest of the season!

  8. hey girl. As someone who knows a little about glucose tests, rest assured diet has NOTHING to do with it! It's all about how your body handles the insulin and your hormones from being preggo. Keep on eating your ice cream. If you have it, you have it so enjoy those treats because if you do, the fun goes away :(
