DIY {Menu Dry Erase Board}

GOOD MORNING, LOVES!

Yours truly is smiling ear to ear because the weather here has just been fantastic. We were able to turn off our A/C yesterday and had our windows and doors open all night. It was heaven and gave me a little glimpse into what fall is going to be like. Then the weather Gods decided to give us another beautiful day today...70's with a nice breeze. I have started running outside again {before it was just way too much} and am loving every minute of it.

Over the weekend I finally completed my first Pinterest inspired DIY project.

The Menu Dry Erase Board
...you may have seen it before if you are Pinterest obsessive compulsive like I am.
that's not a joke.

This project is so simple that even I couldn't mess it up.

Here's what you'll need:

-12x12 picture frame (I just think this size works best, you can use whatever you like)
-Scrapbook paper to match your kitchen colors
-Dry erase marker

You see all those different color scrapbook papers? I decided to buy one {not pictured yet} that matched our kitchen colors that I'm keeping in the frame right now, but ALSO buy ones that I can use for the different seasons {Christmas & Halloween themed, etc} so I can switch them in and out!

Pretty good idea, I must say.

Just admit it..you know I'm a genius.

Once you have your paper picked out, you simply put it in the frame and use your dry erase marker to write the days of the week on the glass.

VOILA!

Here is my final product :)

We hung it right next to our refrigerator.
This project cost me less than $12 (frame I had to buy) and I really like how it turned out. Billy and I usually plan out our meals anyways, but we never had something hanging to remind us, so we would often forget. This eliminates that problem..no more forgetting and much less stress when we get home from work and wonder what we will have for dinner!  :)

We love it.

What do you think?

Would you use this menu board?!

  24. I love this idea! I'm horrible about cooking and figuring out what to make. More so because I don't know how to make much nor do I have the time to learn, but this would help out a bunch! Especially with the grocery store! lol
