What I'm Loving Wednesday: Our Wedding! :)

Yesterday I received a big..black..HEAVY box and opened it up to see our WEDDING ALBUM!!! I have been really excited to get it and finally it's here and just in time for Christmas to share with our families!

I didn't have this blog back when I was planning our wedding because I was just too busy being a Bridezilla with appointments, work, planning, etc. to concentrate on a blog. It only seems appropriate to dedicate this WILW to sharing some of the album with you all and other details about our wedding. Besides, who says you can't still talk about your wedding even if it happened 3 months ago?

So. Here it is..What I'm Loving Wednesday: Our Wedding Album + a few randoms mixed in :)

I'm loving the entire album but especially the cover with the blue sky. The feeling I got when Billy and I were going through the pages together. It seriously almost brought tears to my eyes..it was like re-living it all over again! can we rewind to that day, please?

the cover...It is glass and I love this feature about it

the front page. Obviously had to start it out with some *bling* to catch the eye...

Bride pages... le sigh... :)

My beautiful bridesmaids.
Top picture on far left is all of us wearing aviators. I got each of my bridesmaids pink aviators to wear at the reception. I def. recommend this idea to any future brides! They loved them and you can pick any color to match your wedding style. (As you can see, my wedding colors were very bright and I wanted it to be FUN...aqua blue, pink, mango orange)

My handsome Groom. Just love this man and that smile...

Billy's favorite page. This picture with his groomsmen on the left = just awesome.

family page with some tradional pictures

After our ceremony, we did the typical bride and groom walk out of the church but then we released 2 doves in honor of my Mom and my Aunt (her sister) that passed away out of this heart shaped basket. We also had them on display inside the church in a vintage bird cage so the guests could see them and there were pictures of mom and a poem surrounding it. This was one of the first things I knew I had to do when planning our wedding. Our photographer did a wonderful job of capturing it at just the right moment!

Church pictures & my flowers. Our programs are pictured on the left - they are scroll programs with a ribbon tied around. Thank you Martha Stewart for this idea. They were easy to hold and were different than your typical ceremony program.  My flowers had some feathers put in on the bottom because I had a flower/feather feature on the side of my dress. I also had my mom's wedding ring attached to my bouquet :)

One of my favorite pages. Just me and my hubby...

Reception pictures. Our cake, toasts, special dances, centerpieces (only 1 pictured).

We had a lovebird theme. Our save-the-dates and invitations incorporated "lovebirds" on them. Our cake topper are little lovebirds I had designed off of ETSY...love Etsy. I also had our ring bearer pillow designed off of Etsy. To go with the theme, our florist hung vintage birdcages from the ceiling with flowers pouring out of them. It was beautiful.
 See picture below.

The hanging birdcages are in the background of this page. I love how this was added to the background.
These pictures were doing our first dance.

...in my RED high heels...

next to a random barn our photographers made us pose by hehe

These pictures are from out on the golf course where our reception venue was at.
I just LOVE these. no other words.

more pictures from the golf course.
It was so beautiful outside..mid 70's and not a cloud in the sky.

Us - up close and personal. Hello there!

THE END.
...and we lived Happily Ever After :)

I'm also loving.... the canvas I bought off of Canvas People with one of our wedding photos on it. I saw this promotion from another blog and thought it was too good of a deal to pass up. I ended up paying $27.00 total for it ($15.00 of that was shipping fees). It is 11 x 14 and this is the picture I decided to go with...

I love how the sun is peaking in the upper corner and just thought this would be pretty to display in our home! Can't wait to get it!

Lastly...I'm loving that it's Wednesday! Half way through the week people!

Go link up with Jamie and tell us what you're loving :)

Have a great day!!!

Katie
