Nursery Inspo Round 2

I'm super excited to be able to decorate a nursery again! At this point in my pregnancy with Camden, I'm pretty sure I knew exactly how I wanted it to look, already had things bought that I was storing in his closet waiting to be hung, and I already made Billy get all the painting done.

Things are moving just a taddddd slower this time...hello...toddler running around! It's also more difficult for me to get going on it because if we don't end up moving this year, it'll definitely be next year so it's hard to put a lot of work into the room when I know he won't be in it very long, ya know? But of course, I still want it to be adorable and perfect for him, so we've made some definite progress in hopes to get the ball rollin'!

We ordered the crib and dresser yesterday (yay!) and I think I nailed down the colors I want to do. Luckily, Billy trusts my vision and loves the ideas so far. I hope to pick up some paint samples this weekend and then hopefully Billy can get started on it soon (sidenote: I seriously hate not being able to help paint when pregnant! It's one of my favorite parts..I know I'm weird)

Anyway, here's some of my inspiration for baby boy #2:

A brother sign of some sort is a must...

As for the wall color, this is kinda what I'm leaning towards...

Can't wait to share more once we really get started! And just for fun-here's Camden's finished nursery. I'm still so in love with it!

  1. Ah, I missed your gender reveal! (Confession.... I was checking in on your profile the day you were going to find out if you had shared or not.) Love your ideas! As much as I love decorating with pink right now, blue is my favorite color :)

  3. We're in the same boat over here! We have #2 coming in June and we haven't done a single thing for his nursery and I don't even have a vision for it. With #1 I knew before we even found out it was a boy what the theme would be and what room he'd be in. We have picked out furniture but haven't even bought that yet. I feel SO BEHIND!

    1. You aren't that behind - trust me! This all just came together like, yesterday, when the furniture was ordered haha! Still plenty of time but it is funny how different it is the 2nd time around. :) Congrats on your 2nd!

  4. Hey girl! Your room inspiration is precious!!!! We just started working on our babe's nursery and picked out paint last weekend (it's a BOY for us too!!!!!). We went to Pottery Barn Kids looking for inspiration the other weekend and found bedding that was 70% off, so we're going with grays and blues this time around! We haven't picked a name yet - why are boy names so hard for us?! It was probably around this time in my pregnancy with Camden that that name was put on "the list," but we didn't officially decide on it until we held our precious baby boy. I'm getting anxious to find a name just as good as Camden! :-) Hope you are feeling well! ~*Maureen*~

    1. awww I have been waiting to hear if it is a boy or girl! Congrats to you guys! Maybe our boys will share names AGAIN? ha! We do have his name pretty much picked out, but are waiting to share until he's born too! It's funny how different things are this time around. Keep me updated with things over there! :)

  5. Oh boy, you are much farther along than we are! I kinda know I want to keep baby #2's room pretty neutral, but that's about it ha! Of course, we're waiting until we move into our new house to get started, but hoping we can get it together before he comes! Loving your inspo pics! Those antler hanging knobs... gah!!! Side note: I saw on snap that you guys got a double stroller! What kind did you get? I've been trying to research... so hard to choose!
