Monday Confess Sesh

I confess...

that we didn't dress up for Halloween this past weekend. We went out to dinner, grabbed a horror flick, and watched it at home. It was also raining and like 40 degrees so it didn't bother me one bit.

that I've been gathering all kinds of freezer meals from Pinterest so that I can make them all next month before baby K arrives. I do wonder how well they will turn out, though... (here's a good list to start out with, if you're looking for some too!)

that I started using MAC's Studio Fix Powder (with this foundation) after wanting to try it for years and I LOVE it. Stays so much longer than any of the powders I've used in the past.

that I miss wearing my old jeans and tops. Mainly just fitting into things. But, I'm perfectly OK with wearing leggings (found awesome black pregnancy leggings-here) and big ole' comfy sweatshirts/tunics the rest of this pregnancy. I've decided I'm not buying any more maternity clothes (except nursing items) at this point, so I just have to make what it's my closet now work!

{top-old navy (similar), leggings, boots, scarf}

that we aren't taking the popular childbirth class that all first time parents seem to take.

that everyone needs to buy at least one color in this sweatshirt tunic. So comfy, so warm. I got it Friday and kind of want to wear it daily... ;)

that this stuff is an absolute dream. I use it when I take baths and will buy it over and over and over again. Heavenly!

that I'm excited for Pump Rules to be back on tonight!! Yep, I said it. Cant' say no to that show. Anyone else?!

that I'm looking forward to getting some serious use out of our awesome BOB stroller!

that we have childcare lined up for Camden once I have to go back to work (we will need 3 days of care) and it is such a RELIEF!! Biggest decision we've made so far! More on this soon.

that I think I need these sneaks. Maybe they will be an after baby gift to myself... ;)

What do you confess? Hope everyone feels rested after being able to get an extra hour of sleep, I know I am! (Yay for sleeping in both days this weekend...)

  7. The BOB is the best stroller! Such a smooth ride. I did actually take a few childbirth or prenatal classes, and I only really found the breastfeeding one to be helpful. I don't think any amount of classes can prepare you for whats ahead! :)

  9. We didn't take any of the classes either. Everyone we talked to said they were a waste of time. And we were just fine without the classes!

I also made freezer meals before we had Kimber and it was so nice not to worry about fixing dinner some nights. Enchiladas was our favorite frozen meal!

  15. I think your Halloween sounds perfect! We had people over but a low key scary movie night sounds awesome. And I don't think you'll have any trouble making what's in your closet work because you are so stylish even through pregnancy. I am loving all your fall outfits!

  16. We haven't taken any childbirth classes either! My mother in law is head of labor & delivery at the hospital where I will be delivering so I kind of have my own expert on all things pregnancy and labor related :)

  17. I'm going to have to try that foundation and powder! I don't like liquid foundation & it's really hard to find a powder that lasts all day!
