World Breastfeeding Week-Dr. Brown's Giveaway!

I would be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated about breastfeeding. Nipple covers....nipple creams....nipple shields...pumps! It's pretty much like a foreign language to me...

What I do know is that it's hard and takes a lot of dedication. I do plan to breastfeed with Camden and really want to give it my best effort since it provides the best and most natural nutrition for babies. I know it's not for everyone and situations can arise at any time so I make no judgement on those who choose not to.

This year, Dr. Brown’s is celebrating World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7) by recognizing the efforts of moms in celebrating breastfeeding.

I've teamed up with them today before I'm off on vacation to celebrate all the hardworking breastfeeding mama's or mama's to be out there!

The winner will be gifted a Dr. Brown's Gia nursing pillow, pillow cover of your choice, and an assortment of breastfeeding accessories. All you have to do is enter below! This giveaway will be open until next Thursday and the winner will be notified by email. Good luck!

  13. I just found out I am pregnant with my second baby! :) Breastfeeding can be painful, but you get used to it, and the pain goes away once you do it correctly. Number 1 tip is having peace and quiet while pumping. Sloane is a CUTE cover!

  28. The best advice I can give you about breast feeding is don't give up. I had trouble in the hospital (my son lost more than 10% of his body weight because I wasn't producing) and was devastated. Talk to lactation specialists and persevere. It's really a true test of patience, but once it 'clicks' its wonderful. I've been exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months.. and now we start foods!

oh and the beco or chase cover are adorable for boys!

Gotta love Breastfeeding Week, I just saved like $60 at Babies R Us stocking up on replacement pieces for my pump that I'll be bringing back out of storage (from where's it been since I quit nursing/pumping for my first son) come Nov. 20 because of their BOGO 40% sale on breastfeeding supplies!
