Fall Boots: Clarks {ft. $100 Zappos Gift Card!}

If you know me at all (or follow me on the Insta), then you know I have a minor major obsession with shopping, as do most girls. That's just how we are. But for me, it's boot shopping, in particular that gets me.

To my husband, it seems like I'm always looking for the perfect Fall boots to add to my closet (this might be half true). This year and last year, I've been loving all the different styles of booties that are available. Booties can be paired with so many different outfits- from cute dresses with a jacket over top, to casual boyfriend jeans and a sweater.

If I'm shopping online for shoes? I order from Zappos.

Their customer service and super quick delivery truly cannot be beat. Not to mention, they have free shipping both ways and a 365-day return policy... I call that an awesome company.

My two latest Zappos boot purchases?
left: rosepoint bud, right: alpine icy

How cute are both of these shoes? Don't be surprised when you see me wearing these all the time in the next upcoming months, that's all I've gotta say. ;)

I'd heard awesome things about Clarks before (mainly about how comfortable their shoes are), but had yet to pull the trigger and try them for myself. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty picky when it comes to boots.

That all changed though when I spotted these two boots online. I had to have them and I'm happy to report that the quality of these Clarks booties far exceeded my expectations. The leather is gorgeous and they actually have padding on the inside (major plus!). They are so comfortable, yet stylish, and I've already received so many compliments on them. I love that not everyone I see out and about has this style and that I can actually introduce them to Clarks!

If you are interested in adding Clarks to your shoe collection (which you definitely should!), you can call (800) 927-7671 or go to Zappos to purchase your own!

  1. First comment, that counts for something, right? (lol), always style first, always :)

  2. I would say that I always look at style first but if they are really uncomfortable, I just can't buy them. I have to be able to wear them all day! Thankfully, there are a lot of shoes these days that are stylish and comfortable :)

  4. I think as I get older I'm leaning more towards comfort. However, if they're comfortable and not cute I won't purchase them. They HAVE to look good...but for me a good fall boot has to be comfortable. :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. I prefer a happy medium between style and comfort but I've been known to wear some seriously toe pinching shoes for the sake of style, though it means dancing bare foot by the end of the night.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'd say style comes first but comfort is definitely a factor. If the shoe is gorgeous but I can't wear it for more than five minutes, I can't justify buying it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Comfort as I am getting older ;) I have found myself over the past couple years going towards flats or heels that are 2 inches or less.

    ReplyDelete
  8. A few years ago, I would've said style. Now, I'd have to go with comfort. I just can't handle the pain of some shoes anymore, no matter how cute they are. Style and comfort combined are like the holy grail of shoes. And if you find a brand that provides that, well, you'll be in shoe heaven. Ha. I've tried Clarks before and they are pretty awesome! And I also love Zappos! I was an Endless.com fanatic, and when they got bought out by Amazon, I quickly turned to Zappos. They do provide awesome service and super fast shipping! Great giveaway!

  9. In the purchase, comfort definitely comes first, BUT I usually don't even try shoes on if they aren't somewhat trendy. So I guess I am saying I am initially attracted to the style but if I try them on and they are not comfortable, forget it! At that point I may go with a little less trendy style with more comfort.

  11. First off can you come dress me? You have such an awesome style!! If you would ask the 21 year old me I would have said style for sure, beauty is pain! However, now that I am 29..almost 30 I will say comfort. I want a shoe that I can stand to wear all day at work and go out in that night. I would like it stylish and thankfully brands are picking up on that now!

  12. LOVE this giveaway! I buy almost all of my shoes on zappos....LOVE them! I think comfort comes first for me, but if the shoes aren't cute I won't even try them on!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Style always goes through my head first, but comfort ultimately wins out when I have to pony up the cash!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Style at first, until I try them on! Ha! Awesome giveaway ;)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Style, but hopefully they are comfortable too!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Style, but if I can't walk in em then they go right back on the shelf again!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Style- unless the heel is over 4 inches ha

    ReplyDelete
  18. Comfort first since I've had foot surgery & want to avoid future surgeries. That said, I only buy comfortable & stylish shoes & boots which can be harder to find.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Style but I definitely regret it sometimes!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm not one to compromise (read I want both), but lets just say if the cutest shoe ever is pinching my toes a little bit. I will for sure still buy them!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. It used to always be style but now that I've gotten older it's moved more towards comfort but always keeping style in mind too! Hope I win the giveaway i've been eyeing some shoes on zappos that I need!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Style comes first, but if you can find a boot or shoe that offers both, then it's a must buy!

    ReplyDelete
  23. It depends on the occasion that you're buying for. When buying shoes to wear to a wedding - style is probably going to be the first priority. When buying shoes for work, comfort is first. What a happy day it is when you find the perfect shoe that looks great and feels great!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Style for sure!! There are so many products available, like insoles and gel pads, to make a shoe more comfortable that you can really make most shoes work anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Style comes first, that's what gets me to even try them on. Then the comfort is next because no matter the price if they are not comfortable they are not worth it!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would love to say that style will always trump comfort, but the more that I am on my feet, the more I try to find a balance between the two. If it came down to two pairs of shoes that I loved, the ones that were more comfortable would walk out the store with me.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Gosh those Rosepoint Bud boots are cute! I would definitely say style comes first. But then, I do have a closet full of cute shoes that I barely wear because I know that they hurt, so maybe I need to rethink that! ;)

  28. Unfortunately for my sasquatch feet being a size 10 for my little 5'5 body, style is very important but notso easy to find and comfort is a must! Haha I LOVE the second pair of booties on the right. Also love Zappos company they have always been known for their top notch service! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Love those wedges!! Clarks has really stepped up their game!! I go for style, thats what they make inserts and the bandaid glide stick for!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I say that style comes first but if they're not comfortable they're not coming home with me!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Comfort definitely comes before style in my book. I spent far too many years in uncomfortable cute shoes!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Comfort! Which means clarks should be on my purchase list :)

  34. I would choose comfort over style, but they have to be cute too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I like a combination of comfort and style. For work especially they need to comfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  36. As much as I love a cute pair of shoes/boots, I CAN'T buy them in they're not comfortable, so I'd say that comfort comes first. If they're going to be in heavy rotation, they have to be comfortable!

    ReplyDelete
  37. At first look it is always style but if there are two pairs I can't decide on comfort wins.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Style is where the initial attraction with shoes begins but comfort usually wins if it's between two different shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmm...if you would have asked me this 8 years ago I would have said style, but now I'm definitely more about comfort. Not that style isn't forgotten, though! Those Clarks are ADORABLE! My Mom has been wearing their shoes for years and I'm loving all the more 'modern' and trendy shoes they've been releasing!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I usually think about style first, but it was definitely a toss up between the two!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Always style!! What's comfort when it comes to shoes anyway?!?! Fun giveaway!! xo

    ReplyDelete
  42. Used to be style, but now in my old age it's comfort :).

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm a mix of both! I have to be mostly comfortable, but if the shoe isn't cute, why even buy it??!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Style always comes first. No matter how comfy, if they aren't cute there is no point!

    ReplyDelete
  45. The style of the shoe is what sparks my interest first, but if I try them on and their so uncomfortable to the point that I can't imagine lasting a few hours in them, I put them back.

LOVE both styles. Looking at them on Zappos right now!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Style is what draws me to a pair of shoes, but if they're not comfortable I'm not buying them! Living in downtown Portland now, I have been walking a ton and it also rains a lot, so I need a shoe that's going to last!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Comfort is key, but if they're not my style, they're not coming home with me!! I've had frostbite on my toes, so in the colder months, I can't always be wearing the cutest, most "in" styles-- unless I double up on socks!!

  51. OMG this is pretty much the best blog post ever.

There. Now mine deserves a comment today.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Style typically comes first, but comfort is such an important factor sincey walk from the parking garage to my office is quite a trek!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I would love to say Style but with a 3 year old, I am not able to wear my typical stylish heals! So comfort in the form of wedges and most flats comes first most days.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Comfort! No point in being miserable!

    ReplyDelete
  55. It depends on the purpose of the shoe. If I am wearing them for an occasion, style comes first, but for everyday wear and work, I have to go with comfort. I am on my feet a lot, and the days I wear my cute but killer heels, I want to cry by lunchtime.

    ReplyDelete
  56. comfort for sure!!
but sometimes I bend those rules :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. I have boot and bootie fever this season...and this only makes it worse...LOVE your selections :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. comfort for sure! I've had shoes in the past that were cute but so uncomfortable. So not worth the trouble anymore!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Style always catches my eyes first.. but they have to be somewhat comfy!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Style is first, but I will definitely nix a shoe if they are uncomfortable. PS I love Zappos!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Style.....if the shoes aren't cute it doesn't matter if they're comfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I need to have a good balance between style and comfort. These days, its so much easier to find shoes with both!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I love both! but I admit that I've bought shoes that weren't so comfy with the idea that I would "break" them in and for the most part that works! but it's a painful first few days.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I wish I could be cool and say style but I have to say comfort. However, there is such a thing as stylish comfort because you bought two pairs of them!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Style!! I won't ever wear the comfortable ones if there are prettier toe-killers beckoning from my closet.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I usually look for style first but I at least have to be able to walk in them! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  77. I first go for style, but then I always need comfort as well. I'm getting old and can't handle hobbling around on sore feet anymore!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I definitely go more for style than comfort. However, after wearing those stylish shoes for several hours I regret that decision. I've never really looked at Clark shoes before but given your post I'll have to take a look. Those booties look super cute!

  155. Definitely comfort. Life is too short to have uncomfortable shoes.

  156. Comfort, but they have to be cute, which is tough sometimes! my favorite shoes are actually Clarks...wedge sandals that I could walk miles in, so comfy!

  159. Style makes me pick up a shoe and try it on but I won’t buy it if it isn’t comfortable.

  161. Both style and comfort are equally important to me when it comes to shoes. I look for style first however I would not get it if it is not comfortable.

  165. The look of the shoe hits you first. How it is made and quality of product next. If that shoe does not feel great from the start - no matter how beautiful it looks, it is not purchased. I don't think there should be a break in period with a shoe......

  166. Comfort always comes first! I plan to live for awhile, and shoes that don't fit properly can lead to sooo many health issues.

  167. Usually comfort because I have bad arches.

  168. Thanks for the opportunity to win! I've been choosing style over comfort lately, but I think I need to switch back to comfort first :)

  169. I think it depends on the occasion. But, usually comfort has to come first for me. And I always search for both in my shoes!
