A WATCH OBSESSION.

Alright, Alright.
I have a slight watch obsession...addiction...love.
Whatever you'd like to call it..I HAVE it!
Who doesn't these days?!

It hasn't always been that way, but within the past couple years they are my favorite pieces of jewelry (besides my ring, of course) to complete an outfit. Now that stacking different bracelets and bangles with a watch has become so popular, I've been wearing mine more and more but also looking for watch bargains. I'm a firm believer that Michael Kors can do no wrong in the watch department (amen), but I also know you can find cute alternatives for cheaper.

Below are a few of my victims favorite watches and I store them on this super cute acrylic tray from Shop Belle In The City so I can find them easily since they are the ones I wear the most.

You do have to be careful though because if you buy a cheap $30 watch, it's most likely a cheap $30 watch. If you want it just for looks (like my new recent mint colored one), then it completely serves it's purpose but don't expect it to last for years and years. So far, I've only found one watch/brand that matches Michael Kors quality but is half the price...

I recently got the Alex Gold watch and it's the perfect boyfriend style that I had been looking for to add to my {obsessive} collection. The quality is comparable to Michael Kors (really sturdy), it looks extremely similar, but it's only $98.00. On their website when you order, they have you measure your wrist size so that you can pick how you want it to fit and they donate to a cause of your choice.... I love that!

They also have this same style watch in rose gold, black, silver, and tortoise.
And...that's not all.
You can get 20% off by using the code 'KEEPCALM20
Let's all do a little dance together about that.
Or just shop all the colors here!

Thank you Wristology for creating such a great quality {and budget friendly} watch.
You've got me sold.

While on the topic of loves...wanted to ask you guys what your favorite way to store makeup is?
I have a big flat tray that I've been using, but it's running out of room and I want something that is easy to put away under the counter when need be. Any ideas? I was thinking about buying one that has 3 or so pull out drawers. How do you store your makeup? Tell me your secrets!

{Make a mental note to make sure you come back tomorrow to link-up for Saw It, Pinned It, Did it with me and Steph. I've been on a 2 week hiatus and ready to get back into it with something delicious! You'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out...}

  2. for my makeup - The Husband actually created dividers in a drawer (I posted about it last summer when he did it) that is really useful! I used to have containers for each different area of my face that stacked nicely. that was handy too =)

  7. Confession: I have eight watches and love every single one of yours! I cannot believe how similar the Wristology watches look to MK watches. At 20% off I might just have to treat myself to an early birthday present and get the Alex Black! Glad I'm not the only one obsessed with watches!

  10. Love my watches too! I think my fav is my Phillip Stein although the MK gold is in close running. I actually keep my makeup in a plastic carry all that goes into a basic with my lotions. I put my makeup on in the living room while sitting on the floor, so the basket moves easily and stores perfectly under our sink. I have nothing but a crystal vase on our bathroom counter!

  11. I adore MK watches but cannot swallow that price tag. My friend swears by Ebay but I just don't have the patience so might have to take a little lookey loo at this website.

  13. I have a MK obsessional in general which includes his watches but i only have one of his watches. so your one lucky girl! i love that mint one so cute! Not to mention that makeup organization stand is too cute!!! what i do for my makeup is that in my room by my dresser is a huge mirror where i do my makeup. i use the first drawer of my dresser as a makeup holder. i have little baskets where i divided my makeup into, eyes, lips, face, and then there's one with random one with cremes. then i picked up a cute three way storage with draws (the little ones) and placed it on top on my dresser there i hold all my brushes!

  14. I want the MK rose gold watch but it has some crappy reviews that it turns/tarnishes. Have you experienced that? In the meantime I've ordered an el-cheapamundo lookalike from Amazon. It will probably get delivered today and quit running by Saturday.
As for my makeup storage - its awful. I zip it up in a bag (what I use daily). The rest is in various drawers, and not organized at all. My dirty secret

  15. I love watches! I will have to remember Wristology. I like to buy men's watches and have them sized to fit me since they usually have a bigger face, but women's watches are usually cuter.

  18. i can not recommend Muji drawers more for makeup organization! you can get them here: http://www.muji.us/store/storage/acrylic-cases/acrylic-case-5-drawers.html or amazon. they are acrylic so much sturdier than those plastic drawers and the fact that they are clear really helps you pinpoint what drawer an item might be in that you're looking for. plus, they are pretty enough to be set out on the bathroom counter or on your vanity but you could totally throw them under the sink if need be :) also there are tons of videos on youtube of people showing how they organize with them if you need some good inspiration!

  24. I just got my second MK watch for Xmas (it's gold/silver with a brown leather band) and I am obsessed! My husband gave me my first one (all silver with mother of pearl face) for our wedding so that will always be extremely special to me! I love all of yours though, especially the gold chain link one!

That's so funny you mentioned the makeup because I have been thinking about rearranging my bathroom drawers and putting organization boxes in there to put my makeup in! I just keep it in my makeup bag on the counter, but I would love to get it more organized!

  25. i'm still looking to find a good watch. I love MK watches but don't like gold and I prefer leather belt not a metal chain. Plus I always wear watches on my left hand and for me I like everything to be ideal and gold watches together with white gold rings doesn't match at all.
But I love how you keep your watches, I mean store them.
My cosmetics are all over the place. The main I use is inside of my cosmetic bag, the others I don't use or just a little are in small storage.
