WILW: Spring-Clean Your Heart

"While you're spring cleaning your home, don't forget to spring-clean your heart. Throw away negative thoughts and habits you've been harboring that no longer serve you. A clean, open heart will allow you to receive all the good that awaits you each and every day. If your heart and mind are cluttered, there is no room for life's gifts and surprises to enter."

This quote really spoke to me yesterday when I saw it. I'm a big fan of celebrating the small things. Small things with big meanings. Small things that shape who you are and who you want to be. There is so much to celebrate lately and it's important to me to always remember what really matters. It's been far too long since I've shared what I've been loving lately, so here are the things that are making my life a little bit more lovely this week.

I'm {loving}: Talenti Sea Salt Caramel gelato // Ben and Jerry's Greek Fro-yo.
Both little slices of HEAVEN, I TELL YOU!
Run out and buy these ASAP.

I'm {loving}: switching my nail color with my mood. Weird, maybe?
My girlfriend just had her baby girl (see below) so I was feeling a girly pink last night.

I'm {loving}: that my great friend Rachel and her husband Josh had their baby girl last night!!!!!! I'm so incredibly happy for them and I can't wait to meet her today! Her name is Amelia Rose. Adorable.

Congratulations Rach & Josh<3

I'm {loving}: that the Bachelorette with Emily starts soon! I may or may not have went through her list of Bachelors yesterday when they were released and picked out my final four. What is WITH all the foreign men? and I have to say, I was expecting some real stallions in this group for her, but I'm a little disappointed? I hope when the show starts I'm proven wrong!

{obsessed with this outfit of hers. Ok-any outfit of hers.}

I'm {loving}: the new prints/gallery wall in our home office!
They make me happy. We are just waiting on our new rug to come and then I will do a whole post with a little tour. :)

I'm {loving}: this quote. One of my favorites.

I'm {loving}: that our good friend Mike mulched and edged our entire front and backyard over the weekend (without us asking him to!). He also cut our grass and helped Billy install a new faucet! How sweet is that?!

Thankful for good friends.

Next up is to plant some flowers this weekend :)

I'm {loving}: this outfit!

I love summertime, shorts, and bright outfits.

I'm {loving}: every part of THIS...

special thanks to Ashley for knowing I'd love that.
I'm now working on new business cards ;)

I'm {loving}: that Keep Calm and Carry On's facebook page is over 200 "likes"! Thank you to those who have liked it :)
If you haven't liked the page yet, would you go do so?!
Thanks loves.

Also, I'm loving those of you who leave me sweet comments on my posts. Lately I've noticed my comments have gone down a bit, but my pageviews have increased! So that's a little odd.
When I say my readers are important to me,
I mean they are important to me. :)
This means YOU!!

So thank you if you've been leaving comments around these parts.
I read each one and appreciate them!

I'm {loving}: my husband of almost 2 years
(this August! time has flown by!)

What things are making your life LOVELY this week?

  14. Oh, the comments! I swear, I have the same 6 people comment (which, I really appreciate!) But I get a ton of page views. It's never added up. I've always wondered how people get tons of comments, because comments make me happy. ;) I'll have to check out Emily's men. Now that you prepared me maybe I won't be as disappointed. You and Billy are the cutest and your ring...Oh, that wedding ring is to die for! I wanted a solitaire when Jeremy bought me mine, but now I love the vintage-y feel. I'll have to try the fro-yo. Question, how often do you work out, and what type? Just curious. I'm trying to get up and going more than I'm doing now and want a goal.

  43. I have to say I've never watched the Bachelor/Bachelorette at all but given that Emily is from my area and they filmed it here in Charlotte, I may have to tune in just to see some familiar sights. The fact that I know Luke Bryan & his band are making an appearance is a definite plus as well! ;) Saw the Ben and Jerry's at the store the other night and managed to not grab any. Will have to give it a try now since it comes highly recommended. Have a great rest of the week!
