I Confess...

....that I'm really contemplating getting lasik eye surgery done, but am a teensy bit very scared of my eyes being pried open while people cut at them. ::cringing::

....that I used to have a 'treat myself to Starbucks only on Friday's' kinda thing, which is now completely out the window. Skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato addict here... (I blame the nicer weather for this lately)

....that I cannot stand the sound of people clipping their nails. Especially when at work.

....that I ordered this skirt and have no idea where I'm going to wear it, or what with, but I love it. Sequins, midi, and under $40? Can't get much better.

....that we hired a cleaning crew and I have a feeling it's going to be worth every single penny. We generally keep our house pretty clean, but we found a great deal and the fact that they will change our sheets pretty much sold me. I confess I avoid laundry at all costs.

....that I think almost daily about how I wish Rocky could live forever (he's only 6) and I work myself up about it.

Nike's from here-love this color too!

....that I can't wait to be able to run outside everyday.

....that if you're looking for boyfriend jeans for spring, I recommend these pretties.

....that I love the state of Texas and I NEVER thought I would say that. 22 days and counting (and busy planning Steph's gender reveal party!)...#soexcited

....that I'm seriously lusting after this bag.

also comes in navy, black, and coral (love)

....that I'm dreading the beginning of my husbands fantasy baseball league (he becomes a tad obsessed and it feels like it lasts for-ev-er)

....that froyo, sandals, and sixty degree weather makes my life better.

 Jack Rogers sandals from here

....that trying new recipes and cooking in the spring and the summer is so much easier! I have a feeling this recent one I made will be on our menu a lot.

....that J. Crew Factory has 30% off everything right now. This, this (that print-eek!), and this are tempting.

....that Carrie Underwood's legs should be illegal.

some of her workout is now available: here
I confess I will be studying this more than I ever studied for a test in high school.

  2. Oh my gosh---the clipping of the nails at work is TERRIBLE! This goes on at my workplace and I often think-is it even possible that person is clipping their nails at their desk!?! It just should not happen.

  3. DO IT. Get the LASIK. It was the best, the absolute best money I've ever spent.

When I was pregnant, I was *thisclose* to actually barfing when I heard someone clipping their nails at work. I honestly thought I was going to pass out.

I think I have about 12 Carrie Underwood leg workouts pinned on Pinterest. Lucky girl!

I'm loving all your fashion choices lately. I wish I could go shopping with you!

  5. I want to get lasik so badly! A friend of mine gave me the advice to wait until after having kids since your vision can change. The doc said the same thing!

And Carrie's legs are my dream! Oh my goodness they are amazing!

  7. I've been contemplating Lasik tooooo. I don't know if this helps, but I've found a few places in down that don't cut the eye at all. It's all laser and they don't even physically touch your eyeball!

  9. Clipping nails at work! UGH and ICK.

In my world it is just walking outdoors (but we got a few more inches of snow last night).

My brother got Lasik and I do not think he regrets it. my husband and another brother are contemplating it as well.

  11. Love this post. Clipping nails is just gross. I cant stand the sound either and I am a skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato addict too. I even painted my starbucks cup. I can't wait until we can hire a cleaning crew too. I avoid laundry my husband laughs because I just buy new things so I dont have to do laundry, but I do change my sheets every week but they just pile up. Bad habits die hard!

Get the lasik but the flip side is no more cute glasses :( I am hoping I can get into running this year.. praying!!

    Happy Hump Day!

  13. Dogs should be able to live as long as us!!

  14. You should 100% get lasik done! I had PRK (like lasik, but a bit different) done last year and it's the best decision I ever made! It's so nice to be able to wake up and see and not have to worry about bring solution, a case, extra contacts, with you wherever you go. It's very freeing!
I totally agree with you on nail clipping! I have a coworker that does it every week and it's so gross.
Carrie's legs are the like an 8th wonder of the world. She is just fabulous all around though. :)

  15. Agreed. I find Carrie Underwood's legs EXTREMELY offensive. And omg...there is someone at my work that clips their nails all the time and I just want to Stassi back hand them! Like nails on a chalkboard for me. Bleh.

  16. ugh, her legs are no joke, I'm totally envious. & I'm desperately wanting that Jcrew Factory clutch toooo...waiting to see if it goes on sale just a tad more ;) Oh and annoying outfit question that I'm sure you've already answered a million times....buttttt where are your jeans from? [the one's in your adorable froyo pic] thanks lady!
    Have a fabulous Wednesday!

  17. something about warmer weather turns me into a severe starbucks addict - more so than normal! I would also like that purse and carrie's legs and to wear sandals.

  18. The newest lazer doesn't cut your eye, in regards to lasek. Bryan JUST had a consultation last week. It's totally different than it used to be!

  19. The nails at work thing makes me CRAZY.
I want lasik but I'm also scared.
A clean house is worth every penny. Not having to furiously clean at night/on weekends is awesome.
I get worked up about my pups too :(

  20. You're not alone in wishing your dog will live forever. I can make myself cry over the fact that one day my sweet pup won't be here!

  25. I pinned Carrie’s leg workout to try too! You can bet I’ll be working those moves into my routines. Pumped about fro yo weather and happy hours outside!

  26. I am DYING to get Lasik. I want Lasik more than I want a boob job after having kiddos. Can you imagine the money we'd save not buying glasses or contacts or contact solution or going to the eye doc???

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think about our dog (Admiral) living forever too...and he's only three! I can't even imagine him not being around...crazy how those little fur babies steal our hearts!

  28. This post is pure gold! I kind of want to jump in and live in it ;) haha! I got LASIK a couple years ago and it was the greatest decision ever. I had worn contacts for years, but was still a little eye-shy and it didn't bother me at all! I didn't youtube or google anything because I knew it would freak me out! I swear though, the procedure is SO fast. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, it was all done by laser, and by the time I woke up the next day everything was perfect! You definitely won't regret it! :)

Also, I need to do that workout immediately! Carrie's legs are insanely amazing! Almost as amazing as that skirt...and that bag...and the froyo...and of course Rocky ;)

  29. The eye surgery thing, totally contemplating it as well. My friend had it and she survived, so we can, right? (just thinking about it, yuck!)

The house cleaning, yesyesyes. It's only Chris and I, but we still have someone clean. It seriously is magical what they do. Magical.

And the dog thing. Ever night when we go on a walk Chris says, "Aren't you going to be sad when Wrigley and Bailey die? I wish they could live forever." Ummm, hello?! Let's not talk about that!

  30. You know someone who clips their finger nails at work? Gross! And I have dreams about Carrie Underwood's legs. Sigh...mine will never look that good.

    ReplyDelete
  31. froyo is amazing, Rocky is the cutest and I totally have the same thoughts on lasik. I've debated with myself more than I care to admit!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Same thing here...I've started driving thru Starbucks every morning....this morning before a big {ie, really long} meeting I actually got two venti cappuccinos. It's a sickness I swear. And I'm majorly in love with Carrie's legs too. Girlfriend has it going on!

  33. Don't freak yourself out over Lasik surgery!! One of my very best friend's is a nurse for a local Doctor that performs the surgery (and has for years-- in fact, they did the surgery on my Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, and Former Boss).. you can be "put under" if you'd like so that you have no recollection of anything or you can take Xanax in order to be relaxed. The surgery is SO worth it. Look into it-- it could change your life :)

  34. 1. Changing your sheets is the only reason I would need to hire them as well. That is seriously my least favorite.
    2. The purse is ah-ma-zing!!! Love it.
    3. My doggie is only 2, and I'm so obsessed with her I constantly say I want to keep her "forever", and I literally mean that.
    4. I loved this post :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. We now do a cleaning company as well and it is the best thing ever. Except now I feel like I'm getting ripped off because they do not change the sheets lol!

  36. I LOOOVE that skirt! And I have the perfect place you can wear it to!... http://circacolumbus.squarespace.com/. I'm sending you an email about it very soon. :)
