I CONFESS {+SPD INFO!}

I confess that I will be spending the next 4 days in Nashville and haven't packed a thing yet. But I do have a list of outfits I could pack in my phone* I think if I throw some cowboy boots and a couple dresses in a suitcase that I would be good, though....

I confess that I got my hair done last night at the prettiest salon (Blake Rose Salon in Grandview) I've ever seen. I wish I could've slept there...that nice.

Barn doors (do you see them?!), brick wall interiors, chic chandeliers, ghost chairs = swooooon

I confess when I went to update my iphone to the newest software the other night, my phone crashed, went into recovery mode, and wiped out everything I had (minus my contacts). Panic ensued and I'm not sure if I will ever be updating my software anymore. *said outfit inspirations? MIA.

I confess the weather the past few days has brought me back to life. I said it. It was 82 degrees yesterday and is going to be 80 today...way to go Ohio, way to go. I'm a warm weather gal through and through and am so happy to see winter gone. Give me sunshine or give me misery. Something like that.

I confess I will miss my boys while I'm gone. I also confess that is my purple/pink bike in the photo above and I think it takes a great man to be able to pull that look off with a 7lb Pomeranian in his hands... :)

I confess I wouldn't hate it if Luke Bryan happened to show up for my girlfriends bachelorette party.
No-you shake it for us, Luke Bryan.....

I confess that I think penis straws are in my near future. If you want to catch up on all these bachelorette shenanigans in Nashville, follow me on instagram @katiewkrysh.

Saw It. Pinned It. Did It Announcement:
Our link-up will be live tomorrow on Steph's blog still, but after that we are taking a break from the link-up until May (we will update you with exact date later-it will still be on Thursday's!). We are nowhere NEAR being done with this link-up...we love it so much, but think that a break would be good from time to time so that we can all charge our batteries wallets, husbands, and homes from projects and come back ready to rock it!

What does that mean for you?
Well, that just means you better save up all the projects, recipes, outfits, etc. for when we start back up in May so that you are AHEAD of the game! Got it?

Alright, I've confessed all I have to confess, so now it's time for my vacation to start.
Reminder: You can still enter my Embellished Living (personalized tile coasters) giveaway!
Winner will be announced when I get back.

I believe I might have more confessions when I get back from Music City....
stay tuned.

  6. Have fun girl!! I just went to a bach party this last weekend in Savannah and believe me there were lots of penis straws :)

I met Luke Bryan before he was famous because he came to my now husband's fraternity house at Auburn, and handed them a CD and said that he's trying to break into the industry and asked if he could play a show at the house!! It was so cool and now he's so famous and SOOOOOO hot! That would be awesome if he was walking around in Nashville! My best friend lives there and it's such a fun city, you'll have a great time!

  9. I feel your pain with your iPhone crashing. Mine did the exact same thing a few months ago when I did an update & I went into a stage 9 colossal meltdown (seriously, tears might have been shed). I brought my phone into work the next day & turned it over to our IT guys who somehow managed to save almost everything. I wanted to kiss them on the mouth. But no, that would've been awk & I don't think my hubz would've approved. No more iPhone updates for this girl.

Enjoy your bachelorette weekend!! Can't wait for all of the dirty deets! Keep us entertained with IG pics. ;)

  10. I did an update the night before I left for a work trip, I'll never do that again! It crashed. I had to reset to manufacturers settings. Thankfully, I had just backed it up so I was able to restore it. But, my quick update resulted in hours of stress and my 3 am wake up call was extra painful! I'm always nervous about the updates.

I totally agree about this Ohio weather! I'm wearing a skirt without tights today and I could not be happier!

Enjoy Nashville! My sister lives 40 minutes from there and I LOVE visiting.

  11. I am loving the weather too! I love the "give me sunshine or give me misery quote"! I feel the same way. I'm an East TN girl and pumped about the 80's this week. Looks like 60's and 70's for your weekend in Nashville. Cowboy boots with dresses are always a safe bet in that town! Have fun!

  16. I can't believe how much warm weather affects my mood - until we finally we get in Ohio and I'm all like "YAY! The world is so AWESOME!!!!"

Have fun in Nashville! Was just there in the fall and had a great time... minus the whole smoking in bars part. That wasn't ideal.

  23. Enjoy Nashville. I've always wanted to go & haven't ever made it yet. It's kind of silly too since it's only about 5 hours from where I live!
Our weather has been in the 80's too and I've been in my glory!!

  24. Our weather has been awesome too and I've sooo loved it. However it makes me not want to work, ha! My plants in the flowerbed we made last year are starting to bloom, so that makes me happy :) Like another person I think the SPD break will help me get back in it a little bit. I didn't manage to get anything done for today anyway (boo) but without the SPD, I don't know that I can manage to save all my projects till then...ha. I'll have to figure something out. Cheers to sunshine! Have fun in Music City :)

  25. Have fun on your trip to Nashville! We Embellished Living girls are Nashville girls. One of our favorite places to go is The Big Bang, best dueling piano bar we've been to, and the bachelorette needs a t-shirt from there, trust us ;) Be careful in Coyote Ugly, those floors are dangerous ;)
