DEAR TOOTH FAIRY, I NEED $10..I HAVE NO MONEY.

I'm sitting here today about to write a semi-full blog post about a letter written by me in my younger days to the tooth fairy. But that's what I love about a blog..the opportunity to share even the most random of things, at the most random of times. And today, I have that for you. Why? Because I have a trip to pack for and it's just TOO good not to share...it really is.

I'm surprised there aren't any tear marks on it yet since all we could do when reading is crack up at this, but I'm sure with time (I'm thinking I need to frame this...just kidding) there might be some eventually. Take a look...

Dear Tooth fairy:
{yep, my actual tooth still taped to the front...}

Wow.
They say some things never change!

Talk about persistence right there...
I showed dedication to the job + was specific on what exactly I wanted.
And way to throw in the "I have no money"part, Katie.
I'm sure it worked. I'm sure of it...

Ohh....and...just so the entire post isn't tooth fairy related:

Dear Texas, I will be seeing you shortly and getting out of this awful snow storm we just had!

Dear Readers, if want to follow along on our trip you can follow me on instagram: @katiewkrysh.
Also, don't forget you can still enter my Outfit Additions giveaway from yesterday!

Dear Steph/BBFT, Kristen/Chris, Shay/Drew-CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!

Do you ever find any gems from your youth at your parents house?

Not pictured is my bag full of badges from Indian Princesses.
(Who else was in that?! Oh my gosh, loved it.)

That's a whole new post for a whole new day.

Sincerely,
Little Rainbow

(....really? I couldn't think of anything more clever?)

  8. SO funny! I love looking back at all the amazing stuff I managed to accomplish when I was a kid. I once wrote Santa a note that said, "if you didn't bring me a TV, don't bother coming down the chimney" when I was in like the 4th grade haha.

  20. That is great! My parents didn't save anything, which might be why I have serious issues throwing anything out...including my son's umbilical cord and nail clippings (ps I did!)

  22. Haha well you were quite the beggar back then! But I'm pretty sure I thought finding quarters in my Easter eggs was like winning the lotto so I can see why $10 would feel like the whole world being handed over.

Have SO much fun in Texas :)

  23. Wow I can't believe the tooth is still attached to it and hasn't rotted or something!? And look at your knowing what you want and asking for it. That's the way to do it!

Did the "tooth fairy" come through w/ your request?

I love finding gems like that at my parents house.

  32. I stumbled across your blog and can't help, but comment-- my name is Katie (or at least that's what my family has always called me) and my maiden name is Whelan. I'm Cat to most people now, but when I read your little tooth fairy letter I was cracking up when I saw the signature. I've never met anyone with almost an identical name:)

  36. Funny! I found my old "behavior" charts when I was at my parents' house a few months ago. My mom came up with these grids that she would rate me 1-5 on different areas based on my attitude. "Towards Mom & Dad..." "Towards dinnertime..." There were so many days when my score was so high that it merited "1-2 swats with the belt." I couldn't help but laugh. I don't remember ANY swats with the belt. Way to go on the follow through, Mom.
