Feeling Inspired

We've made it to the weekend!

This weekend we are traveling to Cleveland to visit with Billy's family and go to a chili cookoff party on Saturday. I found an amazing chili recipe that I practiced this week and am hoping all of our friends enjoy the recipe. Being that I'm a vegetarian, I decided to make a vegetarian chili because I figured everyone else will have meat in theirs. It may be a good change. Some other plans include cheering on my Buckeyes to a win and some shopping.

This week I was feeling extra inspired.
Here are five things that are catching my eye as of lately...

the lovely Emily from cupcakes and cashmere

I just bought a pair of grey high waisted trousers from H&M that look almost identical to this pair. They are perfect for work and are so slimming.

practicing the recipe for the chili cookoff and putting in a pretty colored Anthropology bowl, leaves our house smelling wonderful.

switching out our halloween decorations and preparing for Christmas. It only comes once a year, so why not start a little early?

Oooh, if you have ever questioned my love for Ohio State football or how I get my friends to become die hard Buckeye fans, pah-lease watch this video. It is from last weeks CRAZY game against Wisconsin.

Chills is all I've gots to say, ladies.
This is our team & I'm proud of it.

thank you Kelsey for sharing with me.

What is inspiring you lately?

...are the red cups at Starbucks making you happy this week like they are for me?

Any fun plans for the weekend?!
Do tell!

I also want to wish Kristin a very happy wedding day...
She asked me to be in her wedding party, but sadly I had to decline. ;)
I can't wait to see pictures, my love!

  9. You just sparked something in my memory that I had apparently buried -- Bryan and I worked at a HUGE Chili Cook Off in downtown Cleveland about 3 years ago. It was in the fall and they had really amazing live bands! Random, but are you going to that???

  11. I've been so tempted to pull out the holiday decor this weekend. The hubs isn't a fan, and everytime we move he tries to get me to throw away the tree. I on the other hand listen to Christmas music in August, so nothin doin. :) I think I may have to go get myself a Peppermint Mocha in a red cup.
