4TH OF JULY // LIFE LATELY!

Hi friends!! How was your 4th?! I hope you all had a safe and fun holiday!

I wanted to share a few pictures of ours, and some others from the past few weeks. The heat has been crazy here the past few days and we practically melted at the 4th of July parade in Dublin that we took the boys to, but it was worth it to see them have fun and enjoy it! That's what our job is as parents, right? ha! We got smarter as the day went on and just spent it at the pool and had a yummy dinner at home!

And just some other summer fun we've been having...

Planning this almost 2 year old (WAHHH) dinosaur birthday party which is only a few weeks away!

Billy has been loving showing the boys how to fish in our backyard! Grayson is OBSESSED with touching them and Cam just thought it was cool he caught one..

The boys with some of their favorite people...PawPaw!
 ...and JuJu!
We had a day date to a winery with some friends last weekend and out to dinner!

Billy's brother and his wife are due in just a few short weeks now too so we absolutely cannot wait to meet our newphew and for the boys to meet their new cousin!!!!

But as for today, everyone in our family except myself (knock on wood) is now sick in some way, but I'm trying to stay positive that it's just a cold (except with Grayson he has a little tummy bug happening) and we will all be better soon! We have been so lucky because the boys haven't been sick in SUCH  a long time....this past winter they didn't get sick once, so it's definitely been a blessing having a break from it all.

This week has flown by with the holiday being right in the middle! I do have some fun posts planned already for next week (I KNOW...WHO AM I?) so I'm really excited to get back into blogging more! I miss this space and love connecting with you all so much.

Have a good weekend!

Easter Festivities

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!

We celebrated Easter at our house in the morning, and then in the afternoon went over to my parents for an egg hunt and dinner. I dressed the boys in these matching bunny tops with bowties...they looked so handsome! Both boys loved all the goodies in their basket, but especially love the monster trucks they got (so much so that one went missing at my parents and we had to go out and by another ha!)

Here's some pictures from the past few weekends...

Easter event at the zoo:

Easter morning at our house and then celebrating at my parents house with an egg hunt...

Powell's Easter egg hunt (the weekend prior!):

This was such a fun year for us watching the boys at all the egg hunts since both of them could do it (Grayson was so small last year) and it makes me not want for them to get any bigger!!

Posting something exciting tomorrow so stay tuned :)

Easter Outfits

easter dresses, spring clothes, womens sandals, affordable clothing
Happy Thursday!

Before I get into sharing these adorable Easter tops and dresses, I wanted to share the good news I got on Tuesday about the thyroid biopsy I had done last week. The nodule they found that was of concern is benign! 🙏🙌  I've been feeling soo relieved & so thankful! And I need to say thank you x a million to all of you that have prayed for me and sent encouraging messages - THANK YOU!! (And for those wondering whats next - I meet with an ENT at the end of this month about having my thyroid removed and at that point I will do a larger post with more details.)

Ok, cute clothes. Whether you want to be comfy and wear one of these pretty tops or dress up in a dress or romper - these are my favorite picks! Pretty sure that that either of those sandals should end up in your closet for the remainder of spring and summer, too!

Eyelet Tee (really loving this)

Floral Print Romper (under $60!)

Wedge Sandal (under $50, also comes in black)

PS-Ordered the boys their matching shirts last week and I can't wait to see them in it!

Halloween 2017

Camden had been asking to be a fireman for Halloween for oh, just the past 2 months or so. He loves everythinggg about fire trucks and fireman (don't get me started on how many times per week I hear him scream "Mommy!!!! I hear firetruck!! Weeee oooo!"), so it's not that surprising when I tell you that he's been "practicing" for the main event for the past few weeks now - wearing his fireman boots around our house and going up to our doors holding his hands out saying, "trick-or-treat...thank you!"

And he perfected it alright! Cam trick-or-treated his little heart out...he ran up to each porch and then was right back at it again sprinting to the next house, only to pause to ask for another sucker (still his fav!)

Dressing up Grayson as his little dalmatian puppy was just a given! They both looked so adorable. Since I pushed Grayson in the wagon for most of the time that he was out trick-or-treating (which wasn't long since it was so cold-he was content watching it all and being by mommy!), Camden often asked for a piece of candy for his brother and would run back to Grayson and say "here Gray!!!" and put his candy in his bucket. He was such a good big brother! We were also thankful for my Dad who came over to help and pass out our candy for us...the boys loved having him there too.

Also, Kona got a pass this year. Totally forgot to buy her a costume, but next year it's on!

Every Halloween with these boys gets better and better...there's not much more to say other than I truly feel so lucky to be their mama and and see the joy in their faces! It means everything to me.

PS: Backing up a few days - we have all been sick for the past week and while Camden got over it pretty quickly, a few days ago we were told Grayson has bronchitis! He had a bad cough that turned into really high fevers (103.5) and has just not felt his best at all. Yesterday, on Halloween, was the first day that he really started to feel better but he still just wants to cuddle up and be held most of the time instead of playing. This was another reason we decided not to keep him out very long for trick-or-treat..just enough to go to a few houses :) Anyway, so that's why I've been a little MIA! I know you all know how hard it is when your littles are sick (and when us parents are as well! I'm just now starting to kick my cough!)

I hope all of you + your little ones had the best Halloween! I LOVED seeing all their costumes on instagram! xo

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS

The 4th of July is always one of my favorite holidays! We had so much fun celebrating this year with the boys, especially since Grayson is now with us and not in my belly! Crazy to think I was 9 months pregnant this time last year.

Anyway, Camden was REALLY into the parade this year (Grayson loved the music) and he basically flipped out over all the floats (his fav was the Mickey and Zoo ones), backhoes he saw (his fav right now), and candy he got thrown his way! It was so cute how much he loved it. The church right next to where we sat had a bunch of activities for kids like water balloons, painting, and bubbles, which was awesome to keep him occupied while waiting for the parade to start!

Later in the afternoon we went to my parents to celebrate and to have a cookout. We got the kids some confetti poppers and Billy bought some of those "pop its" noise makers that Cam was obsessed with throwing! I made this yummy dessert pizza recipe, which was a huge hit seeing as how all of it is now gone. Could.not.stop.eating.it. Pretty sure I want to make it every year...Camden kept asking for more cookie!

I hope everyone had a great holiday with your families! I have to say I think the best part is that even though today totally feels like a Monday, it's actually WEDNESDAY!! Woohoo!

PS: Have you noticed the new look around here?! I'm still working on it, so bear with me for the next few days if something is missing!
