2 TRUTHS. 1 LIE *ANSWER*

I could've made this more tricky, but I did trick some of you.

My lie is.....

#3.

I changed my major twice in college.

I actually changed my major THREE TIMES in college.
and still made it out in 4 1/2 years...that takes SKILL people.

I went from Early Childhood Education, to Business Adminstration, to Human Development and Family Studies. :-)

....so this means that I AM actually allergic to cigarette smoke (proven) and I did accidentally cut off an elderly man's oxygen supply for approximately 1 minute.

That story will be explained NEXT WEEK in my VOLUME 2 of "Did I Do That?"
Get excited. It's gonna be good.

GOOD JOB to those who guessed right!! BUT, even if you guessed right, I bet you didn't imagine I changed THREE times.

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!!!

2 Truths. 1 Lie.

I saw this idea on my awesome girlfriend Kate's blog and loved the idea so of course I'm stealing it and doing it too.

It's pretty self explanatory....here's 2 truths and 1 lie about me.
YOU tell me which one is the lie.

(1)

I'm allergic to cigarette smoke.

(2)

I worked at a retirement home as a waitress and stepped on one of the residents oxygen supply.

(3)

I changed my major twice in college.

2 truths. 1 lie.
What's what?!

Can you guess my lie?

Now it's your turn to play this game and I'll guess about you!

PS-HAPPY FRIDAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
{{me jumping up and down with joy}}

Tumblr_loqkmfzr9a1qc160uo1_400_large

I will be having one of these tonight...

or maybe a tall glass of vino will do.

Have a great weekend and start guessing my lie!!!!

I will post the answer later today :)

I hope to respond to emails and catch up on your blogs this weekend..looking forward to  it!

I'm not really here..

This week has been insanely busy for me.
 I'm counting down the hours until Friday afternoon.

The majority of my excitement yesterday was from 3 simple things {who says simple isn't good enough anyways?}.

#1. When I got home this package was waiting for me on my front door step...

My Harry and David organic fruit club delivery from the lovely Krysta!

What's inside?

Dark sweet cherries.
Yummo and such a nice surprise.
Harry and David has wonderful organic fruit club packages you can buy where you get a different fruit that is in season 4 times a year. Check it out!

#2. I did an at home teeth whitening system. Am I seriously blogging about this? YUP.
It's called Luster Premium White 1 hour light whitening system.

It comes with these handy dandy tools that you use.

I read reviews for it and decided to give it a go. I'm not a huge fan of the whitestrips because my teeth are extremely sensitive, so I wanted to try something else. This says ZERO tooth sensitivity. You can do up to 20 applications in one use, but that you can see results after 10 applications (which takes about an hour). I only did 10 applications because I was tired, but my teeth definitely whitened up! I'd say maybe 3-4 shades. If I would have done 20 applications, I bet it would be around 6 shades.

As for tooth sensitivity? NONE.
Love it.
(if you're interested..you can find it at Target or Walmart, it's $35, and you can use it up to 4 times a year..once every 4 months.)

#3. Remember when I said in my title for today "I'm not really here"? Well, that's because I've got nothin' else for ya today except some random info about food and teeth, but you CAN find me....

 here and here.
{Jessie actually called me a "superfox"..I'm thrilled}

Those 2 gals rock my world and I wanted to give them a shoutout and say THANKS for featuring me on your awesome blogs.
Go check it out!! :)

Ohh, one more thing--remember last week when I featured bloggers who are just starting out and I asked for you guys to stop by their blogs and give them some motivation/say hello?!

I have one more blog to share with you and would really appreciate it if you could go give this girl some blog lovin'...

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Have you ever tried Luster premium white?!
or any other whitening system I need to know about?
Do tell! I love me some pearly whites.

xo.

Pinteroving {A Combination of Loves}

Pinteroving...you know, like TomKat...Bennifer...or Brangelina.

Today I'm combining 2 of my favorite link-up's - Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesdays & What I'm Loving Wednesday. I couldn't pass it up this week :)

Link up with Michelle for Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday and Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm {loving}: that we just booked our anniversary (8.28.10) trip and
are going here....

One of my favorite places :)

Boston, MA

and

Cape Cod

So far we have plans to go to go to Newport, Martha's Vineyard, and hopefully see some whales on a whale watch...

probably won't snap a pic that great, however.

*Boston has always been one of my favorite places to travel and Cape Cod was actually the FIRST trip Billy ever went on with my family and I! We stayed in Sandwich with about 20 of my other family members and I'll never forget how excited I was to have him there with my family. Naturally, it holds a special place in my heart and I can't wait to spend our anniversary there.

My aunt and uncle have a house in Plymouth, cousins in other various areas {can't remember the names}, and I have a girlfriend who lives in Hingham. I can't wait to see everyone!

WHERE ARE MY BOSTON BLOGGERS AT?!

I'm {loving}: that I got tickets to the Goo Goo Dolls concert next Tuesday for $20!!

I noticed Groupon had a deal on the tickets (half price), but the deal ended the night before. I decided to give it a whirl and call Groupon to see if it were possible to still get them and he totally let me! Proof that it doesn't hurt to ask, now does it?!

I'm going with my best friend Lindsay and we are pretty excited, even if they are somewhat old school. Can't beat $20. The concert is at an outdoor pavillion, which is always fun, because you can enjoy the weather.

Now it's time for Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday...

Here are my favorite pins this week.

Alright, LADIES.

This entire outfit = MY LOVE.
Isn't this outfit fabulous?!?!

Blazer + bright skirt + neutral hells. loves it.

Maps for: where you met, where you married, and where you honeymooned.

Such a cute idea. I need to do this.

A summer salad with beans, crandberries, and edamane.

Don't throw out those wine corks!

Touche.

A great wedding gift!
I want to get one for our house.

I really need to find these wine glasses!!
...anyone know where to find them?!

homemade Lara bars.

this would definitely save me some money.
 I love my Lara bars...

what a cute little bebe.

I saw that LC wore this dress, from her new upcoming collection called Paper Crown, on a night show recently and I fell in love with it. BLACK LACE. I really want to get this when it's available if it's a decent price!

You can follow me on Pinterest here.
Do it.

What are you loving this week?

Have you been to Boston or Cape Cod?!

and of course...what am I missing on Pinterest this week?!
I feel like this week I hardly had a chance to get on it, except for early this morning after my run, so fill me in!

Trendy Tuesday {Sharing My Fav Bold Necklaces}

Accessories.

This year I'm loving how "in" accessories are...the more the better. Whether it be feathers {in your hair or as earrings}, colorful handbags, or big, chunky necklaces - they are definitely statement pieces and can instantly brighten up a wardrobe.

My personal favorite right now are statement necklaces.

{the Stella & Dot necklace a lot of celebs have been seen wearing}

You can wear them with a casual top to make it a little more formal, or you can pair it with a dressy tank top and skirt to add some personality to the outfit. They are so easy and that is right up my alley.

I've found so many chunky necklaces that can have a hefty pricetag {hello Anthro}, but I've also found some major steals that are definitely worth sharing.

I've picked my top 5 necklaces in my collection to share with you guys and where you can find them.

1. Francesca's Collection- around $24.00.
This silver necklace goes with so many outfits. I wear it with striped shirts a lot to dress them up.

2. Francesca's Collection- $22.00-$24.00
Francesca's is one of my favorite stores to buy jewelry. Everything is afforable and they always have a huge collection. A bonus? You can order them online on their website if you don't have a store near you.

This white necklace is one of my favorites. It's a different shape/design and is different than your average chunky necklace. I love white in the summer and you can wear this with any color and it will stand out!

3. Forever 21- $13.00
A turquoise necklace is a must have in my closet.
This pic was taken with my iPhone so you can't see the color real well, but I'm wearing it in the picture on my right sidebar -->.
Perfect to wear with plain black and white outfits.

4. Charming Charlie's- $16.00
Charming Charlie's is a HUGE store of just accesories-all jewelry, shoes, handbags, headbands, etc. The store is even sectioned off by color to make it easier to find what you're looking for...amazing I'd say.

This twisted multi color necklace couldn't be more versatile...it goes with brown, black, silver, and gold pieces. I wore this at our wedding rehearsal dinner so it holds a special place in my heart :)

5. Forever 21- $11.00
I bought this necklace over the weekend {mentioned yesterday}. I bought it to go with the lace dress and it adds so much personality to an otherwise somewhat plain dress. It will look great with blazers, and that makes me oh-so happy, because I just love my blazers. I can't wait to wear it!

There are other places you can find bold necklaces too, like H&M and Express, but these are just some of my favorites I've found.

Which necklace is your favorite?
Which would you wear the most?
If you have a favorite accesory, what is it?!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

Please just look at this picture Billy found on his phone of our precious little furchild the day we brought him home.

Makes my heart melt...

That little duck {his fav toy from his auntie Linds} was seriously almost his size, minus all his fur. He literally HOPPED for the first 2 weeks we had him..he didn't walk or run. haha
He was precious.
Ok, still is.
Momma's boy for SURE.

Happy Tuesday!

xo.

Let's Recap It.

Gooooood morning ladies {and the secret gents reading.}

How was your weekend?! Our weekend was wonderful!! Here's a glimpse into what I did - picture style.

I'm going to be super busy with work this week, so my posts may not be the most exciting, but I'll see what I can do. ;)

Friday night-Cheesecake Factory

Billy actually looked at me halfway through our meal and asked why no pictures were being taken {he's catching on..}. That was because we were too busy scarfing the spinach dip, bread, pasta, and bang bang shrimp to breathe for a moment to pause and take a picture for my blog. It was delish though..take my word for it.

Then we watched this movie...

The Lincoln Lawyer

This is a fabulous movie. Go rent it.

It had me hooked throughout the entire time and it was great to see Matthew McConaughey in a completely DIFFERENT role!

Saturday-shopping day at Easton.

the evidence of wallet damage @ my favorite stores...
Anthro, Lululemon, Francesca's, and F21.

Here's some of my shopping goods..

pretty teal bowls from Anthro

Lululemon Athletica - Speed Shorts

I didn't get 3 pairs don't worry :)
 I bought black ones! These are my favorite running shorts ever..foreva eva. That's serious.

Lace dress
{trying to channel my inner Kate Middleton?}

Please note:

A. I won't be wearing a black tank top underneath.
B. I was wearing shorts under this which is why the skirt part has a line in it.

Also, I picked up a big bold necklace {love 'em} to go with this dress, but I will be sharing that tomorrow in a different post ;)

Billy bought me a beautiful coral tank top from Francesca's but I can't find a picture of it.

I will be wearing it with this lace skirt...

timeless treasures crochet skirt

via Shop Ruche
{which is now sold out. sorry lovelies..so glad I ordered this when I did. However, they do put things back in stock pretty quickly so I would keep checking!}

Saturday night- I went out to dinner with my very best friend, Lindsay!

On the menu?

SUSHI.
{and some vino ;)}

This sushi was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
Best I have ever had.

For all of you Columbus ladies, we went to Sushiko. TRY IT!
**and on Tuesdays, they have half price rolls!

Afterwards we may or may not have had a house party at Lindsay's parents house who are out of town {high school style?} including beer pong, flip cup, etc.

Sunday-gave the hubby a boost in the water to go kayaking and I relaxed all day :)

a man on a mission...

What did you do this weekend?

Share your favorite weekend plans with me!

I have a soccer game tonight at 6 - wish me luck!!
I hope to sweat 3 lbs off my body and it may be possible because it is SO hot out and the humidity here is out of this world.

PS- Here's my nail color choice for the week.
Courtesy of Jessie who let me borrow the polish.
I don't think I'm going to buy nail polish ever again because I think she has every one to ever exist.

The color is Essie's - Tart Deco and OPI Glitter on my ring fingers :)

Oh, Happy Day.

Hi, friends! happy happy Friday :)

First things first...THANK YOU to everyone who commented on my post yesterday & had me cracking up! I'm so glad you guys found enjoyment in making fun of me. No..really..I'm serious! I'm glad my embarassing stories could entertain you :) I think that was my most popular post to date and if that means putting myself out there to be laughed at, then I'm all for it.

Stay tuned for Round 2 of "Did I Do That?" in the next week or so. I've got some even better ones coming..

I have a bunch of new friendly faces around here and am officially over 300 readers!

That is so crazy to me and I couldn't be more excited / happy to have you here. I want to get to know each and every one of you, so make sure you speak up and introduce yourself! I have formed some great friendships with girls on here {facebook official and all!} and am so thankful. I've decided that I will do a VLOG to celebrate reaching 300. YEP, A VLOG...that way you guys can hear my cute southern boring midwest voice & it just gives me a reason to be silly! Aren't you just so excited? Ha... Alright, enough sapp for ya... :)

I have some pictures from the past month that I never got a chance to share, so I thought today would be a good day to do that for my new readers. {if you are friends with me on fb, sorry, this will be nothing new for you}
