Week 39 Bumpdate

You know what this means...still pregnant over here!

It's weird. This is exactly the situation we hoped for and wanted this entire time! We wanted Camden to not come too early (especially not on Christmas) and to be a January baby coming close to his due date, and now that we are actually at that point it's so much harder than we thought. Imagine that, such big fat hypocrites we are!

It's true what everyone says...the last few weeks go by so. so. so. slow! We are really happy that he is growing bigger and stronger by the day, but HELLO, we are beyond ready for him to join us. You know, in the next 7-8 days preferably...hint hint Camden James.

UPDATES:

How I Feel: Not as bad as I expected to feel at this point. I feel good, except for the constant tossing and turning at night when I sleep. That part is horrible, but other than that, I'm not miserable by any means (no swelling, no pain, etc.) and have only little complaints. Everyone keeps telling me how small I still am, which is really nice of them to say because I feel like a whale laying out on a beach...

However, I'm over being pregnant. I'm over the waddling. I'm over chugging bottles of Mylanta (acid reflux has been a nightmare this week). I'm over not fitting into anything. I literally want to burn my maternity clothes. But most of all, I'm really wanting to get this show on the road (er-car to the hospital...) See, those are the little complaints I just mentioned.

Billy and I have been joking that we shouldn't be that shocked by all this because if he's anything like me he will be right on time and come on the 8th, or if he's anything like Billy he will show up on the 9th. Haha! ;)

left: top is maternity (here) - it's a great buy, really stretchy and fit me throughout my whole pregnancy! right: holy baby bump!

I went on a 3 mile walk a couple times last week at Billy's gym (and ran into a sweet blog reader who came up and introduced herself-it was so nice to chat with her!) and afterwards felt a lot of pressure and think he might have dropped some more? Maybe?

Am I Still Working? Yes! Thanks to the holidays and the fact that I still feel fine, I haven't felt like I needed to take any time off or start my leave early. Last week I only had to work 1.5 days and as of today I'm already off for the rest of this week, so it's been pretty great timing! I plan to continue to work up until I go into labor, too, and then will be taking a glorious 10 weeks off once Cam is here!

Progress? No signs of labor yet. As of last week doc said my cervix is softer than the previous week and he's in a great position, but I'm still not dilated and I haven't had any contractions yet. I actually get checked again today, but am not expecting much news. I'm now thinking he might be late, which I can handle, but I REALLY don't want to be induced. I'm crossing my fingers that even if he's late, he will still come within that week following, and labor will start on his own terms! If you are the praying type, I would love prayers for that.

Epidural // Platelet Update? Last week we got the fabulous news that the steroids I'm on are working and my levels are up enough to get an epidural (!!!) SO.THANKFUL. I will continue to stay on them until I go into labor, but doc said I should be good to go to get one when the time comes. Hooray!

Nervous Or Excited About Labor? I would say a combination of both, but more excited than anything else! It also doesn't help much that my husband is naive and swears that I will only be in labor for like 5 hours. I keep telling him how rare that is and to prepare for longer than that, but he just "knows it". Yeah...yeah. I'm not sure if he actually believes this or is just trying to keep my spirits up. The only thing I would say I'm nervous about is if I have to be induced-I've heard horror stories and would prefer to avoid it.

In the meantime, we're going out for another "this could be our last potential fancy dinner out for a while" date night tonight for New Years Eve..I got my eyebrows done..scheduled a mani/pedi (I mean might as well, right?)...and even Rocky is getting a fresh cut tomorrow so he looks all handsome for his little brothers arrival!! Things could definitely be worse, I guess! ;) And now that I type all that out, it's actually pretty kind of our little man to give us these last few moments to do all this...but that doesn't mean this waiting is easy.

If he's not here by early next week, I plan to try some things at home to hopefully get him going. I've heard lots of walking, squats, red raspberry leaf tea, sex, spicy food, and bouncing on an exercise ball can help. Any other suggestions moms?! And what did you do to help pass the time? I need some activities to keep me busy!

*I really hope this is the last pregnancy update and the next time you hear from me will be his cute birth announcement picture! I still have a few other posts that will be up (a great giveaway tomorrow!) but other than that I will probably post on instagram for a while until I get a post up, so follow me there if you'd like! Thank you for all your prayers and support, girls! Happy New Years Eve!!

Final Pregnancy Thoughts // What I've Learned

No matter how many hours you spend googling (that girl up there? guilty), or reading countless articles in magazines (double guilty), there is not one description or experience out there that will explain just how your pregnancy will go. Shocking, I know! I'm sure many of us wish that would be the case because then we would know exactly what to expect, how we will feel, and how to handle all the crazy emotions you go through (it's not you-it's them!) which would be pretty awesome. BUT (a big but when it's all capitalized) in that same breath, it would take away so much of the joy you experience from learning on your own as you go!

Since I'm getting close to the end of my pregnancy, I wanted to share some things I've learned along the way and reflect on the past 9 months. I just can't say it enough how much I've enjoyed being pregnant and how thankful I am for honestly loving most of the weeks and months. I realize that I might be lucky, but I also think that having a positive attitude, keeping an open mind about pregnancy (you are carrying a child in there!), and telling yourself that you're a STRONG person and that "you got this!" can make or break your experience, too.

+Don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions. Trust me, if I had a dollar for every question that came up in my mind daily during the last 9 months I might just I would be a millionaire by now. If you have a concern or something doesn't seem right, call the nurses at your doctor's office. Even though it might seem like you're annoying them or that your question is stupid, this is their job, and it's much better to ask than to just assume you know the answer.

+Pick a doctor who will listen to your concerns (and will answer ALL those pesky questions without making you feel silly) and one who you feel comfortable with.  Referral's from friends and family for doctors are great, don't get me wrong (that's how I found my doctor!), but just because they might like them doesn't mean you automatically should and will. I really like my doctor, but sometimes got the impression I was bothering him with questions. I would leave and feel uneasy about how he answered something and that's never a good feeling. Just make sure you love your doctor because you will be seeing them A LOT over the next 9 months!

+Start your registry ONLINE first. This will save you so much time and stress! Going into a huge Babies R Us where you might be unfamiliar with the aisles (I was) and being handed a scanner and expected to just know what to register for?! YIKES. What really helped me was starting my registry online because I already knew of some must-haves from other blogs and Pinterest that I wanted on our list. I added most of the small things online, and then saved the larger items (for example: baby monitor, car seat, stroller, etc.) for when we went into the store so that we could compare all the models and see them in person. Also, it may be easier to leave your spouse at home the first time you go in to register. Chances are they will just distract you or confuse you even more and who needs that? Plus, they will appreciate you for saving their Saturday afternoon. Bring a mommy friend instead (who has done it before and can tell you what you really need!), and then bring your spouse if/when you're really unsure about something!

+Rent books from the library instead of buying them. Save your money and rent. If you really loved a book you read and the principles in it, you could always buy it later on (or even better-look for the main points to the book online, I've found some on Pinterest!) but don't waste your money at first, not knowing if you'll love the book or not.

+EVERYONE will have an opinion. Be prepared for them to relate their pregnancy to yours! I don't think people mean to do it, it just comes naturally. You will have to learn to let the passive aggressive remarks go (or you WILL go crazy), and believe that you know what's best for you and your baby. (I found this to be the most true when it came to exercising-the older generations don't seem to understand why you want to continue working out and may not think it's good or understand it. Go by what your doctor says-not them.)

+Just because it happened to them, doesn't mean it will happen to you. People also love to scare you with their stories...or maybe some would call this "being real" and upfront about the major woof's during pregnancy. I'm all for hearing the potential not so great times because it is good to know both sides, but sometimes it's a little much. Try not to stress yourself out and read into what they went through.

+Keeping a positive attitude and exercising helped me the most. If your doctor clears you to exercise and you don't have any complications, my number one recommendation is to keep. at. it. It will boost your mood, help you feel stronger, and keep you and baby healthy. And it may be an easy concept, but just staying positive and thankful that you are pregnant and remembering that the yucky symptoms won't last forever can completely change your outlook on pregnancy!

Lastly, I just have to say that having a friend who is pregnant at the same time (or a few friends!) is the BIGGEST blessing. Some of your friends who aren't pregnant might not truly understand how exciting, and nerve wracking, each and every doctors appointment is, but your pregnant friends (or mommy friends) will. I have been lucky enough to have several friends who I feel like I can turn to to ask questions and it is SO nice! If you don't have a close friend who is pregnant at the same time, reach out to a blog friend who might be or even an online baby group.

And on that same note...make sure you don't forget to communicate with your significant other. You can't expect him to understand what you're going through, or how to help you, if you aren't open with him about everything! Men can't read minds, ladies, we know this!

Oh, if I had to pick a few items that I recommend you invest in from that day you find out you're pregnant (but remember, you may not need any of these! or you might need all of them!):
-A large container of TUMS and a travel size for your purse
-A massager of some sort (to save your husbands hands)
-A belly band
-A journal
-The Bump Nest (I even took it to Florida with me in my carry on-lifesaver, I tell you)

I hope this helps some of you when your time comes!
For those who have gone through the ups and down's of pregnancy, what helped you the most?

PS: Congratulations to my sweet and loving husband...you've {almost} made it to the end!! I hope to return to the normal, non-hormonal wife you once knew soon, but I make no guarantees. Seriously though...THANK YOU for all your support and love the past 9 months. You were there for me when I needed to cry, when I needed an extra laugh, and most importantly were there for me when I neeeeeeded all those Tim Horton's bagels. Frozen yogurt runs. and bags of candy. You're going to be the best Daddy! I love you!

Christmas // My Favorite Photos Of 2014

I bet you came here thinking I'd have lots of exciting Christmas photos...maybe some yummy food pics...Rocky dressed up in some kind of ridiculous Santa costume....maybe a cute Christmas day #ootd...I am a blogger after all! And these are the type of things we do, right?

I don't blame you-I want to see some of that too when reading blogs!

Apparently being close to 39 weeks pregnant at this time of year has completely taken over my abilities to do such things! This isn't to say we didn't have an amazing Christmas, because it really was awesome (the most relaxing we've had in years, actually), but we are only N-I-N-E days away from our due date and it's completely taken over my mind 110%. Can you blame me? I'm getting really anxious and antsy to meet our sweet baby boy and honestly, I'm a little shocked he isn't here yet! I really thought he was going to be early!

Back to our Christmas break for a minute. Even though we didn't travel anywhere this year, we still had fun just the two of us, and we definitely got our fair share of sleep over the past few days (our last full nights for a while? probably!) We celebrated Christmas with my parents on Christmas Eve like we normally do with a yummy dinner, some games, and they got us this Samsung camera that has been on my list for a while (LOVE the wifi option and it's a great alternative to my dslr that I sometimes don't want to carry around!) Christmas day was spent just the two of us at home...we made a big breakfast, watched Christmas movies all day, exchanged gifts, and had a nice dinner at home. It was really special and even though it was more quiet than usual, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The rest of the weekend could be summed up by more relaxation, cleaning the house up (yep-our tree and most of our decorations are already down!), and lots of errands. Now you know why I don't have a lot of pictures because they would probably all look just. like. that... :)

Anyway, I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday with your family! We have another big one to celebrate this week, too, so cheers to that! Every year, before the new year comes, one of my favorite favorite favorite things to do is to look back through the pictures I posted on my blog each month. I love looking back to see all the fun things we did over the year and where we are now! Here are some of my favorite moments from this past year...

not the best pic, but we celebrated Billy's new job...

went on vacation to Siesta Key & made a day trip to Orlando to visit the new Harry Potter park...

traveled to Texas to visit this one for her gender reveal party...

had the opportunity to meet Jillian Michaels!
celebrated one of my best friends getting married!

announced our big secret..

visited Charleston, SC!

had some amazing baby showers hosted by my family & friends!

took a week long "babymoon" to Naples as our last trip before baby!

and finally, finished what had been consuming much of our time-Camden's nursery!

Now, in this spot, is where his cute newborn picture will go...that is if he decides to join us in the next few days! But I have a feeling he's going to make me wait a little bit longer and will be our biggest blessing come 2015!

Dear 2014,
You were one of the most exciting years I've had...from some awesome vacations, personal and professional successes, and announcing our pregnancy! I do have faith, though, that 2015 is going to be that. much. better. We can't wait to experience life as parents and see where our adventures takes us to next!

Thank YOU guys for reading, commenting, and being the other half to this blog the past 12 months! I'm so grateful for each of you, and appreciate all the love and support more than you know!

Merry Christmas To All!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Yep, totally using our card from 2013 to wish you all a Merry Christmas this year. This is okay by you guys, right? I hope so because I decided to skip Christmas cards this year since we will be doing + sending a birth announcement (!!) very soon.

A card with a cute, snugly newborn...or...seeing my face again? I'd pick the newborn, too.

Guess what? Christmas came early for me yesterday, in a way. We got the results back that the steroids I'm taking are working, and my platelets are up to the level they need to be at to get an epidural (insert HUGE happy dance here). I will continue taking them until Cam is born, so if anything my levels might go up even more in the meantime, and my doctor says I should be good to go for when I go into labor. I would call that magic epidural juice an early Christmas gift for sure! (and I think my husband would have to agree as I'm sure he was a little scared of how things might go if I didn't get one...)

I'm going to sign off for the rest of the week to enjoy the holiday with my family, and these last few days of my pregnancy! I can't even begin to put into words how special this year has been for us, and to think that our greatest gift will be here soon has truly made this holiday season one I will never ever forget. One of the best years of my life. Some might not think having a baby around the holidays would be the best timing, and at first I would've agreed, but my mind has totally changed on this. It's absolutely amazing...every single minute of it. We are either going to be ending this year, or starting 2015, by meeting our very first child.

So incredibly thankful.

I hope everyone has a safe holiday {if you're traveling at all} and a very Merry Christmas with your loved ones! Most of all, be present in the moment and ENJOY it! Xo!

A Successful Weekend Before Christmas...

If you would consider....
+not going into labor at Quicken Loans Arena while seeing the Cavs play
+eating my weight in desserts (what baby wants, baby gets?)
+having an awesome first Christmas celebration with Billy's family
+and watching 3 different Christmas movies

a success...then YES, this weekend was definitely one.

Billy and his brother Kevin before the game...

Here's a little video of the intro that is always my favorite to watch...it was really cool to see LeBron back in Cleveland and we all had so much fun. Sometimes the most spur of the moment purchases/decisions are the best ones!

And some other highlights...I baked some of the most addicting cookies ever, Peanut Butter Blossoms (that post is from 4 yrs ago! couldn't help but laugh), and had some help from my favorite Fre non-alcoholic wine ;)

And as if I needed some more sweets, we used this recipe to make Cookies and Cream milkshakes last night! they were far too good really...

Not pictured...all the rounds of Heads Up we played on Saturday.

Tell me you all have played that game? My brother in law's girlfriend actually has the game on her iPad, and I ended up downloading it on mine when they left so that we could play with my side of the family this week. So fun!

It really couldn't have been a better weekend, and it just makes me that. much. more. excited for this week too! It's so crazy to wonder if Cam will be making his entrance this week, or if he will hold off and be a Jan. baby? It's just the most surreal and exciting time right now...truly couldn't be better.

Follow me on instagram, @katiewkrysh, for more updates this week! I will also post on there first when our little man does join us!

How did you spend your weekend before Christmas? Are you ready to celebrate?

Five Things

Happy Friday party people!

Today is always one of my favorite days of the year because it's the Friday before Christmas and everyone is all excited to have a short week next week and spend time with family for the holidays!

This girl right here is pretty happy because I only have to work 1.5 days next week and we aren't traveling anywhere for Christmas, which hasn't happened in SO long. We will get to sleep in and just spend time the two of us (unless Camden decides to make his arrival before then!), which honestly could not sound more perfect to me. Not having to rush anywhere, not having to change out of my pajamas if I don't want to, quality time with my husband and pup, and just waiting for our baby boy to arrive? Done and done. You don't have to ask me twice.

Here's what I'm loving this week...

-ONE-

A little update (or lack there of) from my doctor's appointment yesterday...still not dilated, which is OK by us! My doctor wanted to do one final ultrasound just to confirm his position (he is head down, phew), so I got to see our little boy again which was awesome.

Oh, and this could NOT be more accurate...

-TWO-

These jeans are going to be my post baby treat to myself (using a promo code, of course!). It's already decided because they are pretty much perfection. And I think Billy will just be excited to see me in something other than leggings and a casual sweatshirt! I admit I've pretty much stopped trying to put together cute outfits at this point...#handsheadinshame.

-THREE-

Lusting hard after this Naked2 Basics Palette. Crossing my fingers that Santa brings this for me.. ;)

-FOUR-

This North Face jacket. LOVE. It's one of those "I never want to take you off" jackets I'm sure...

 -FIVE-

A simple reminder...

Have a great weekend, loves!

Later today, we are headed to the CAVS game in Cleveland (woo!) and tomorrow Billy's family is coming into town to have a mini Christmas celebration with us. I'm making my Mom's famous lasagna recipe and we are exchanging gifts! :)

See you next week!

Best Of: Holiday Desserts

Every year my Mom's side of the family has a big cookie exchange. Depending on how many people are in it, you make at least 9-10 dozen of the same type of cookie and end up bringing home that very amount (but more because my aunt makes pumpkin rolls, too!), but each dozen is a different cookie!

Aka...you hit the cookie jackpot.

Well, this year, I decided to pass because I didn't know how I would feel being 9 months pregnant and making 9 dozen cookies, when I could potentially go into labor at any time. It was probably the best move on my end, but I still missed making my famous Oreo balls that I normally make for everyone so I wanted to share them today on here, along with my popular Buckeyes recipe!

Both of these desserts I posted about in the past two years, but they are some of my most popular posts and since it's the week before Christmas you might just be wondering how you can totally impress your family with an awesome dessert. Maybe? Or maybe you're just having some super intense cookie cravings like I am? Have no fear, I'm here to give you my top two favorites!

You can't go wrong with making either one of these - both equally addicting and delicious. And get this...neither of them require an oven! That means no worrying about burning, people. :)

What are your favorite holiday desserts to make?

Do you do a cookie exchange with your family?
If not, what are you waiting for? Start one!

Happy Thursday!

Week 37 Bumpdate...Full Term!

We've gone from this...

 to THIS!

The details:

*What a bittersweet moment....here we are, full term! Looking back at my previous bumpdates, I honestly thought I had a legit bump at 15 weeks. Haha...was I ever wrong!
*Camden is now the size of a winter melon! For the past month or so, he loves to press his little butt up on my stomach. My stomach will look so oddly shaped when he does it and is really hard. I can now feel his little feet too, which is so cute!
*Results from my first cervix check last week?! Not dilated at all yet! My next check is tomorrow so we'll see if I've progressed at all since at that point. (Also-as a wife who hates being wrong, I'm really starting to wonder if Billy is going to be right with his prediction of Cam coming on our due date or even after...)
*Cravings? Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts. Oreo balls. Basically anything sweet and that has a lot of calories.
*Sleeping at this stage is laughable. The constant tossing and turning is difficult! I'll wake up feeling like I ran a marathon or something, which we all know didn't happen...
*I've been getting up once in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I can't believe I made it this long without having to get up, so I won't complain too much about that...
*No swelling. No real discomfort!
*Labor Signs? Nope! The normal Braxton Hicks which are also feeling a bit different now, they kind of seem to blend in a bit with his big rolls and stretching.

Other important things to note:

*Enjoying: The anticipation of the next few weeks-I'm a constant ball of excitement, nerves, happiness all at once. I love waking up and talking with Billy about if it could be "THE" day and just sharing this special time together...it is SO much fun!
*Disliking: It's not that I dislike my weekly appointments per say because they are exciting at times, but I guess I'm just feeling "over" them in general. I started taking the steroids (boo) to get my platelets up, but know that they are only temporary and hopefully they help me so that I'm able to get an epidural. The thought of not having one is....well, SCARY!!
*Random happenings:
+I ordered the cutest bib cloths recently for Cam's stocking from here! I got a cute anchor print and giraffe print.
+ALL of our bags are packed! One of the best recommendations I received was to bring a power strip for the hospital....such a good idea!
+We have Rocky all taken care of for when we're in the hospital. My best friend Lindsay offered to stay at our house with him to take care of him. So thankful for that!
+I practically begged Billy to get me a week pass to his gym just so that I can go walk on the track or treadmill. Since it gets dark so early here, I haven't wanted to walk outside at all and was kind of going crazy not being able to.
*Looking forward to: Where to begin?! Seeing if I've progressed at all tomorrow at my next appointment...having my normal iced coffee's again (and wine! and beer!)...getting a GIANT turkey sub from Jersey Mike's (it is weird how much I've craved this since becoming pregnant)...fitting into normal pants and tops again...meeting our baby for the first time!

This 9 month journey has almost come to an end and it's so, so sweet. I know I've said it probably ten times but I have loved being pregnant and am really grateful that I didn't have to experience many bad symptoms. When it comes to thinking about labor, my feelings are that as long as baby and I are healthy in the end I won't be disappointed, even if it doesn't go how I would have liked or planned. I'm just trying to keep an open mind and pray that it all works out as it should!

Oh, and if I've seemed a little off lately, it probably is because I AM! I've found that it's really hard to write and blog normally because everyday I'm in the mindset that our life is a little bit on hold. I wake up and wonder if today will be the day, or if this will be my last bump date, etc. so it's kind of hard to focus and put that into words on this blog.

I do plan to continue blogging after he's born, but will just take a little bit of time off while we adjust, so I hope you continue reading! Your comments and support through this time in my life has meant a lot to me, truly!

Our Weekend In Photos

And suddenly we're here...another Monday that has come far. too. soon!

Did you have a good weekend?! This weekend was just what I needed. It has been pretty busy around these parts with trying to get everything ready for the baby (which I'm sure I haven't mentioned at all...), but honestly once I take a moment to actually pause...we are more than ready. Everything is organized and our bags are packed, so that makes me feel really good considering he could come any day now and I'm officially considered FULL TERM as of this week!! There's no more stressing on my end or trying to cross things off a to-do list, and that makes me pretty freaking happy.

Friday was pretty low key...we got Billy's favorite pizza (Meister's) for dinner and watched a movie at the house. Saturday we slept in a bit, went to get coffee (only a few more weeks until I can have caffeine again-amen!), and then spent the day shopping at Easton! The weather has been on the warmer side (seriously-it doesn't even feel like mid December) so it wasn't too cold to walk around outside and it was pretty because it's all decorated for the holidays. Saturday night we went out to dinner in the Short North and afterwards went to Le Chocoholique to split a dessert!

Le Chocoholique has some of the BEST chocolates and desserts, seriously. If you're ever in Columbus, you have to add it to your list of places to try! This mousse cake was even better than it looks and it was devoured in .5 seconds.

On our date night on Saturday, I surprised Billy with tickets to see the Cavs play THIS Friday in Cleveland! It was a spur of the moment decision on my end to buy them, but I wanted to do something nice for Billy since he has been so wonderful and put up with me this entire pregnancy. He LOVES the Cavs (to put it mildly) and his brother and his girlfriend are joining us for the game too, so I knew he would be pretty excited! We will driving there Friday afternoon for the game and driving back at night (his family is coming in town on Saturday), so now we will just be saying many, many prayers all week that Camden keeps on cookin'! :)

And I finally got Camden's stocking in the mail, so naturally I had to fill it with some cute things and hang all of ours up together!

(all of them are from Pottery Barn)

So, there's a house in a neighborhood close to ours that goes all out with their lights. I had to show you all because it's just crazy. I like to drive by it every year, even though it looks like the same year after year, because I just can't for the life of me wrap my mind around how. many. things. they. have. in. their. yard...

If you look closely, all of their windows are covered as well. I mean ALL of them. Can you even imagine what their electric bill is? Insert bulging eye emoticon here!

Only 10 days left until Christmas! Are you ready?!

12.12.2014

CURRENTLY...

Happy Friday!

I'm so not sad to see this week go. I haven't had many rough weeks during my pregnancy, which I'm so thankful for, but this past week has been on the tougher side that's for sure. I'm having a hard time sleeping and I found out that my platelets (they help with clotting) count has dropped, so I have to get on steroids in hopes to get them up so that I'm able to get an epidural.

I was really hoping they didn't drop any more because the steroids can come with some pretty nasty side effects, but it is what it is and if I want that magic epidural I have to take them. I just keep thinking how close we are to meeting Cam and how good I've had it which seems to help! :)

But, on a really bright side, Billy and I are going out tomorrow for our last potential real date night out. His parents are coming into town next weekend and with Christmas after that, we weren't sure when else we could so he's taking me out for a fancy dinner and to go shopping (yep-real excited about that part!)

Here's what else has been going on... (thank you Erin-stealing this from you!)

WATCHING -The Santa Clause and Four Christmases, like I've never seen them before. I have them stored on our DVR and can't stop watching them. They don't get old to me!

EATING - Oh, that's funny. A 36 week pregnant chic walked into Target and came out with....
Mmm mmm...good.

LISTENING TO - I heard Ed Sheeran's new song "Thinking Out Loud" while watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show the other night (who watched?!) and LOVED it. It is the only song of his that I actually really like.

MAKING- Does wrapping presents count?! All of our gifts are wrapped and under the tree. Enter HUGE sigh of relief!

(love this little face so much!)

WEARING - My favorite pair of pants, ever, all day every day. Well, mostly. ;) OOTD's are hard to come by at this point because they are getting so repetitive!

top from Pink Blush, vest is from Old Navy last year (similar)

NEEDING - Caffeine. I can't wait to get that first non-decaffeinated drink from Starbucks!

WISHING - That my labor experience will be really easy and short...wouldn't that be nice if I could control that?! Who wouldn't want that!

FEELING - Tired since I've been up since 4am this morning (pregnancy insomnia is NO joke! combine that with feeling super uncomfortable and you've got a bad combination), but overall really happy that it's already mid December and we only have a few more weeks to go until we get to meet our baby!! And also excited to have another weekend of sleeping in and fun times with Billy! Soaking up these times while I can...

LOVING - All the Christmas decorations in our house! And that I've started stocking up on my favorite wine...Woo-Hoo!

Hope you all have a great weekend and finish up (or start?) your Christmas shopping!
Don't forget to enter my giveaway with New York Life for your chance to win a $50 Gift Card! $50 at the holidays would be a nice little bonus, wouldn't it?!

Crystal Necklace
Hunter Boot Socks
'Bombshell' Curling Rod (this wand works wonders!)

Flannel Pajama Set, on sale
Slippers (so cute!)
Pearl 360 Stud Set, sold out but here is the one pair!
Kendra Scott 'Rayne' Necklace

Are you stumped on what to put on your list this year?

I rounded up some of my favorite girly gifts that I know I'd love to receive! I got this perfume as a gift last year and it's, hands down, my favorite scent out there. You won't have to worry about not being warm, cozy, and cute in that pajama set because it covers all that (I actually bought it to bring to the hospital when I deliver!) Lastly, if you've been lusting after one of the popular quilted vests now is the time to plant subtle hints in your family members ears. ;) And of course you can't go wrong with a gorgeous Kendra Scott necklace (this color is my favorite because it goes with everything!) or some new earrings. :)

Happy Tuesday!

One Month Countdown...

Today marks Camden's 30 day "eviction notice"...
my 9th month of pregnancy...
 weekly doctor checks...
Rocky's last month as an only child...
and us becoming parents!

Our lives are about to change forever and since he could literally make his debut any day now, we took some pictures this weekend to document this special time!

30 days and counting until we get to meet you, our favorite Christmas present, little man...
PJ's are appropriate attire for a mini photo shoot, right? ;) I figure since it's what I'm wearing most these days, along with leggings, (#truth) I might as well stick with 'em. Sidenote...how will I ever go back to wearing heels?! I don't even remember what it's like to wear those!

Happy Monday to you, and us! The countdown is ON!
